the entire movement rotates, carr ying in orbit a one-minute flying tourbillon on a revolving dial.
The patented calibre IO200 presents two features new to watchmaking:
a power-reser ve gauge show n through an aper ture in the caseband, and the w inding and
s e t t i n g s y s t e m t h r o u g h t h e c e n t r a l a x i s o f t h e r o t a t i n g m o v e m e n t . A d d i t i o n a l l y, t h e p h a s e s
of the moon are displayed on the back of the watch.
The watch bears the name of the Sw iss ar tist Jean Dunand (1877-1942), who was influential
i n t h e Ar t D e co m ovem en t i n Pa r i s . T h e n a m e de s i g n a te s or i g i n a l com p l i c a te d w a tch e s
of advanced design built in the Christophe Claret workshops in
Le Locle, Sw itzerland.

constructed on all new principles and a winding and setting system unlike
that of conventional w ristwatches.
Please follow these instructions carefully when you w ind or set your watch.
Misuse may damage the mechanisms.

WINDING YOUR WATCH

Lift the handle on the back of the watch.
Tu r n i t c o u n t e r c l o c k w i s e t o e n g a g e t h e w i n d i n g m e c h a n i s m a n d t o w i n d t h e w a t c h .

While you w ind the watch, the power-reser ve gauge on the side of the watch w ill move in steps
from E (empty) to F (full). Stop winding when the gauge reaches F (full).
The watch has a slipping mainspring that does not lock when it is fully wound.
W h e n i t i s f u l l y w o u n d , t h e w a t c h w i l l h a v e a p o w e r - r e s e r v e o f a p p r o x i m a t e l y 110 h o u r s .

Please note: Before you fold down the handle, give it a half-turn clockwise
to disengage the winding mechanism.
The watch will stop unless the winding mechanism is disengaged.

SETTING THE TIME

This has no effect on timekeeping.

After you have set the time, click the handle down to the winding position,
and give it one turn counterclockwise.

Please note: Before you fold down the handle, give it half a turn clockwise
to ensure that the setting and winding mechanisms are disengaged.
Failure to disengage the mechanisms w ill cause the watch to stop.

SETTING THE PHASE OF THE MOON

The mechanisms automatically engage to advance the moon at midnight
and any manual inter vention between 11:00 and 3:00 may damage the watch.
I f n e c e s s a r y, s e t t h e h a n d s t o s h o w a t i m e a f t e r 3 : 0 0 ( s e e S E T T I N G T H E T I M E ) ,
set the phase of the moon and then reset the time.

Any other implement might damage the pushbutton.
The moon advances one day each time you press the pushbutton.
To b r i n g t h e m o o n t o t h e r i g h t p h a s e , f i r s t a d v a n c e t h e m o o n b y p r e s s i n g t h e p u s h b u t t o n
until the moon appears full in the aperture.
Then press the pushbutton once for each day since the last full moon.
