Pigtronix PolySaturator – User’s Guide Welcome to the realm of Pigtronix! Your new PolySaturator is a versatile analog distortion box that can provide powerful clean boost, vintage amp overdrive, thick distorted grind and massive fuzz tones. In addition to this wide range of distortion, the PolySaturator is capable of intense filtering effects by virtue of its three, 12db / octave graphic EQs. These active stages have the ability to drastically change the timbre of the distortion created by the PolySaturator. When all three EQ knobs (Lo / Mid / High) are set to 12:00, the frequency response is flat, retaining the natural tone of the instrument. By turning up the Lo knob (clockwise), the audio signal will be boosted at 180Hz. By turning down the Lo knob (counter-clockwise), the audio signal will be cut at 180Hz. The Mid and High knobs work the same way, with center frequencies at 420Hz and 1kHz respectively. Here are some sample settings to use as a starting point for finding your sound: Clean Boost Treble Booster Scooped Metal Screaming Notch Tweedy ‘Lux Plexi-licious Hairy Fuzz Koltai Special DC Power - The PolySaturator comes with a 15VDC @ 300mA neg. tip power supply. It will sound slightly different but will also work just fine on a standard Boss style 9VDC power supply. The PolySaturator does not take batteries. The PolySaturator will play nice with other distortion pedals, so make sure to try placing the PolySaturator both before and after your other gain boxes to see which configuration provides the best tone for you. Pigtronix Limited Warranty: Your Pigtronix effect pedal comes with a 1 year limited warranty on parts and workmanship. During the warranty period we will repair or replace, at our option, defective parts or pedals free of charge, and return them to the owner. Warranty service does not include damaged, modified, or misused pedals and such pedals will be subject to a standard repair charge. What we will not do: Pay for shipping or transportation charges from you to us, or pay for any international shipping charges.
