The Program begins with a
five-second splash photo of

Ron chooses a category by
moving the mouse cursor
over the category and pausing for a second or two.
A category can also be chosen with the keyboard by

a photo album to view by
moving the mouse cursor

At the end of the slide
show, Ron can choose another photo album to view
or move the mouse over the

the Choice Screen and

After a short pause, a
slide show will play for a
couple of minutes. Slides
are timed to display for
about 15 seconds each.

the four photo albums will

the keyboard will manually
advance to the next slide.
Pressing the Esc (escape)
key will immediately end
the slide show.
While watching the slides,
the PowerPoint program is
doing the work of displaying
them on the screen and
playing the sounds.
A glitch from time to time
may occur with the PowerPoint software. Microsoft
has a history of selling
software that contains errors. None of these errors
will do any permanent damage to the computer.

New slide shows can be
prepared with the PowerPoint program. The most
time consuming part of developing slide shows is
gathering the pictures and
sounds. Putting it all together into a show is easy.
☺ The program can be modified to require mouse clicks
for selecting choices.
☺ Ron’s preferences for categories and albums is being
recorded. Modifications or
diagnostics based on his
preferences are possible.
☺ New slide shows can be
added without changes to
the software.
