RAILhead Effects The Switch Manual The Switch has 3 jacks: the effect input is the jack is next to the power supply, and the output jacks are on the front edge (with corresponding LEDs). If you want to use 1 guitar and switch between amps or effect chains, simply plug your guitar into the main input jack (by the power supply), then hook-up your other gear to the other 2 jacks. If you want to use 2 guitars and 1 amp, then plug your guitars into the top-edge jacks, and hook-up your amp to the jack by the power supply. If you have an etched aluminum version, after a while, you may begin to notice your fingerprints on the enclosure. Simply get a BARELY moist paper towel (with maybe just a teeny bit of soap) and wipe them off. Good as new! The Switch supports a standard “BOSS style” 9-volt center pin negative DC power supply (not included). It also has an internal battery clip for a 9-volt battery, accessible by removing the 4 screws on the bottom of the pedal. Thanks for purchasing the RAILhead Effects Switch — I hope you enjoy using it as much I enjoyed building it for you!
