PRECAUTIONS AND IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read and follow all precautions carefully to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, and injury to persons:
! Before using, always visually inspect the fan for any missing parts or defects.
Do not attempt to operate the fan unless all parts are properly in place and
undamaged.
! To protect against electrical shock do not immerse the unit, plug or cord in
water or any other fluid. Do not spray any liquid directly onto the fan.
! Only plug the device directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
! Always closely supervise when using the fan by or near children.
! Always unplug fan from outlet when not in use, when moving from one location
to another, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
! Use fan only for general household purposes or purposes described in this
User Manual.
! NEVER operate fan in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
! To avoid fire hazard or injury, NEVER place the cord or any other parts under
rugs or near an open flame, or cooking or other heating appliances.
! To avoid electrical shock, do not operate fan if the cord or plug or outlet is
damaged, if the appliance malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or
damaged in any manner.
! Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table, counter or come in contact
with hot surfaces or leave exposed to high traffic areas.

GENERAL CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
2. To clean, mix a small amount of liquid cleaner with clean water. Use a
clean, lint-free cloth with the mixture to wipe dust from the blades or other
non-moving plastic parts.
3. Never use alcohol or any other flammable liquids to clean the fan.
4. After cleaning, allow the fan to dry completely before attempting use.
5. One or two drops of oil may be applied to the motor shaft to keep
lubricated. Always properly refit all parts before using.
6. If not in use for a long time, please put the fan inside the box, close with
sealing tape, and keep the box in a dry and ventilated place.

1. Desenchufe siempre el ventilador antes de limpiarlo.
2. Para limpiarlo, mezcle una pequeña cantidad de limpiador líquido con agua
del grifo. Use un paño limpio, libre de pelusas, con la mezcla para quitar el
polvo de las hojas o de otras partes de plástico móviles.
3. Nunca utilice alcohol ni ningún otro líquido inflamable para limpiar el
aparato.
4. Después de limpiarlo, deje secar el ventilador por completo antes de intentar usarlo.
5. Se pueden aplicar una o dos gotas de aceite al eje del motor para
mantenerlo lubricado. Siempre vuelva a colocar todas las partes
correctamente antes de usar el aparato.
6. Si no se lo utiliza durante largo tiempo, coloque el ventilador dentro de la
caja, ciérrela con cinta adhesiva y guárdela en un lugar seco y ventilado.

Before using the machine, make sure the product is in good condition, and that the
power cord is securely plugged into a power outlet. Please follow all instructions
carefully.

REPLACING THE FUSE
WARNING - Risk of fire. Do not attempt to replace the attachment plug. The plug contains a safety
device (fuse) that should NOT be removed prior to use. Discard the product if the attachment plug is
damaged. ONLY REPLACE WITH A FUSE WITH A MAX RATING OF 5 AMP, 120 VOLT.
To replace the fuse, follow these steps:
• Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not yank the cord to
unplug.
• Select a suitable tool such as a small flat screwdriver or travel scissors.
• To open the fuse cover, slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug toward blades.
(See Fig. 1)
• Carefully remove the fuse by prying it out with the small tool. (See Fig. 2)
• Risk of fire can result by using wrong fuse rating. Replace fuse only with Max 5 Amp,
120 Volt rating.
• Replace the fuse.
• Slide to close the access cover on top of attachment plug. (See Fig. 3)

producto si se daña el enchufe de la conexión. SUBSTITUYA SOLAMENTE POR UN FUSIBLE CON
UN GRADO MÁXIMO DE 5 AMPERIOS, 120 VOLTIOS.
Para reemplazar el fusible, siga estos pasos:
• Tome el enchufe y retírelo de la toma o el dispositivo de salida de otros. No tire del cable para
desenchufar.
• Seleccione una herramienta adecuada, como un destornillador plano pequeño o tijeras de viaje.
• Para abrir la cubierta del fusible, deslice la cubierta de acceso abierta del fusible encima del
enchufe de la conexión hacia las cuchillas. (Ver Fig. 1)
• Retire con cuidado el fusible haciendo palanca con la herramienta pequeña. (Ver Fig. 2.)
• El riesgo de fuego puede resultar usando el grado incorrecto del fusible. Substituya
solamente por un fusible con un grado máximo de 5 amperios, 120 voltios.
• Reemplace el fusible.
• Deslice para cerrar la cubierta de acceso en la parte superior de enchufe. (Ver Fig. 3)

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
This GenerationsTM fan, manufactured exclusively for PC Richard & Son, XF210 series (“Product”) is
warranted for One Year only to the original purchaser (“Warranty”). This Warranty is only valid in the
United States of America. Manufacturer warrants to the original purchaser that the Product is free of
defects in material and workmanship. “Defects”, as used in this Warranty, is defined as any
imperfections that impair the use of the Product. Our Warranty is expressly limited to replacement of
the fan. Manufacturer will replace any fan that is defective in material or workmanship only to the
original owner within the limitations stated herein. This Warranty applies only under conditions of
normal use. The Product is not intended for outdoor use. This Warranty does not cover: 1) defects
caused by improper installation or disassembly; 2) defects caused by shipping (claims for damage
during transit to you should be made immediately by you directly to the transportation company);
3) defects occurring after purchase due to modification, intentional damage, accident, misuse,
abuse, negligence, natural disaster, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, unauthorized
disassembly, repair, modification or exposure to the elements; 4) cosmetic damage and 5) labor or
assembly costs.
This Warranty does not apply if the Product has been repackaged or resold as second-hand.
There are no warranties, express or implied, including without limitation merchantability or fitness for
particular use, except as (I) contained herein or (II) required by applicable law in the state whose
law governs. The substantive and procedural law of the State of New Jersey shall govern this
Warranty, absent controlling law imposing the law of another state in lieu thereof as governing law.
New Jersey Superior Court or the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, as
appropriate, shall retain exclusive jurisdiction over enforcement of this Warranty and all subject
matter hereof. All warranties of whatsoever derivation shall be limited to the terms set forth herein,
unless otherwise required by applicable law. You shall not rely on manufacturers’, employees’ or
representatives’ statements, whether oral or written, which neither modify this Warranty nor are they
part of either your purchase contract or this Warranty. Except as provided herein, Manufacturer has
no liability or responsibility to you or any other person or entity with respect to any liability, loss or
damage caused directly or indirectly by use of the Product, including, but not limited to, any
incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied
warranty can last or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore,
the above limitations and exclusion may not apply to you. This Warranty covers only repair or
replacement for this fan as stated above.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary from state
to state. Please note: You are responsible to inspect your fan thoroughly for defective parts
immediately after opening the package. To receive replacement under this Warranty, call our
Customer Service Department at 1-888-779-1543. Please have the model number, date code, part
number(s) and your sales receipt or other proof of purchase available for reference. Manufacturer
will ship you any necessary replacement parts in the United States at our expense.
