USER GUIDE FOR REGISTERING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
USING THE PROJECTCONNECT WEBSITE
Introduction
The Gorgon Project plans to develop the Greater Gorgon gas fields located 130km off the north-west coast of
Western Australia. The Greater Gorgon gas fields contain resources of about 40 trillion cubic feet of gas,
Australia’s largest known gas resource. The project is being pursued by the Australian subsidiaries of three
leading international energy companies: Chevron, ExxonMobil and Shell.
ProjectConnect is an online system designed to provide direct web-based communication between buyers
and suppliers. It is a free service and retains only the profiles of companies with representation in Australia.
Companies represented in Australia are able to create a company profile on ProjectConnect and attach this
profile to their registration for projects listed on the website. This supplier registration system is administered by
the Industry Capability Network of WA (ICNWA) who may be contacted on 08 9365 7623.
To register your interest in the Gorgon Project please log on to the ProjectConnect website and follow the steps
detailed below.
STEP 1 - How to Register for the Gorgon Project
1.1 Access the ProjectConnect website - www.projectconnect.com.au
1.2 Click on the State to view current projects.
1.3 Locate the Gorgon Project from the list of Projects and Click “View Project” button.

1.4 Click on the sub-heading of interest under “REGISTER FOR SUPPLY OPPORTUNITIES”.
1.5 Click on the check box against the package of interest under the column heading “FULL PACKAGE” or
“COMPONENTS OF PACKAGE”
1.6 Please note that “FULL PACKAGE” registrations are of interest to companies that can supply the full
package of work. “COMPONENTS OF PACKAGE” registrations are of interest to 2nd Tier suppliers and
contractors interested in contributing to the full package of work as a sub-supplier or subcontractor.

1.7 Once you have clicked on either the “FULL PACKAGE” or “COMPONENTS OF PACKAGE” button, you
will need to undertake a search to check whether ProjectConnect already holds a profile of your
organization by entering your company name and clicking “GO”
1.8 If your company profile exists, Click on “Use Profile” button, otherwise go directly to Step 2

1.9 Please note - if your company has previously registered against some packages on the project, the
following page will appear.
If the User Name and Password is not known use Recover your Password? Your User Name and
Password will then be emailed to the email displayed. If the email address displayed is no longer active
please contact ProjectConnect Helpdesk 08 9365 7623.
1.10 For “FULL PACKAGE” Registration, please include the following Information:
1. Enter details in fields marked with a red asterix
2. Click in the “FULL PACKAGE” box
3. Click in the “I agree to the above terms” box
4. Click on the “Submit Interest” button
For “COMPONENTS OF PACKAGE” registration, please include the following information:
1. Enter details in fields marked with a red asterix
2. Click in the “COMPONENTS OF PACKAGE” check box
3. Enter product/service you wish to provide to the full package supplier/contractor in the text box provided
4. Click in the “I agree to the above terms” box
5. Click on the “Submit Interest” button

Step 2: How to Create a Company Profile on ProjectConnect
2.1 If you don’t have a Company Profile with ProjectConnect and you would like to create one, then please
click on the following link:
“If your company is not listed, click here to continue”
2.2 Select your option below and follow the links:

2.3 If you wish to complete the Company Profile application, then click on the link “Company Profile
Application” and select “Yes” or “No” to the question below
2.4 If you answered No to this question, please click on the link “CONTINUE REGISTRATION WITHOUT
ATTACHING A COMPANY PROFILE” and follow the instructions in Step 1.10 to complete your
registration.
2.5 If you answered Yes to this question, please follow the prompts and enter details in all fields highlighted
with red borders or text
2.6 Make a note of your Username and Password (please retain for future updates to your profile)
2.7 Click on the “Create Profile” button.
2.8 Your company Profile is now active and you can now register for opportunities on the Gorgon Project
