SFN TYPE
FIBRE UNRAVELLING MACHINE
The SFN is designed and built to load steel fibres directly onto an aggregate loading belt. It
consists of a revolving drum which unravels the fibres loaded.

1 – POSITIONING THE MACHINE.

The machine has 4 adjustable feet for changing its height above the ground (fig. 2).

Once you have adjusted the height, lock the feet with the screws. (Photograph 3).

2 – SWITCHING ON THE MACHINE

Plug the power cable into the socket. Press the black push-button to start the machine and the
red push-button to stop it.
The machine has a potentiometer, on the left-hand side of the control box, for adjusting the
drum speed of rotation.
A cable is also supplied for connecting the machine to the plant’s main power line.

3 – LOADING THE FIBRES
Rest the case full of fibres on the service table and completely empty it onto the surface
(photograph 5).

Lift the service table (photograph 6) until all of the fibres are emptied into the drum
(photograph 7).

4 – OPERATOR SAFETY REGULATIONS
Do not put any objects other than fibres in the drum.
Always wear gloves, a helmet and safety goggles.
