A day service offers a place to come, meet new people, have a home cooked meal, join in the many acitivities on offer, read the newspapers or go out on a day trip, but most importantly, it’s about you the individual. How can we help you? We will endeavour to make sure your time with us is a pleasant one. You will be given the choice and the freedom to decide what it is you would like to do. Any special dietary needs will be catered for You will be picked up each day by a specially adapted minibus making getting on and off the bus as easy and as comfortable for you as possible. You are welcome to come for a day and try us out!!! We will ensure you of a warm welcome, tea and biscuits and a 2 course meal at lunch time. How much does it cost? It costs between £4.30 & £6.10* per day. This covers - Day Care £1.80* - Transport £1.80 - Lunch £2.50 *A financial assessment will decide if day care charges apply How many times a week can I attend? Providing we have a vacancy, you will be offered either one or two days per week. The days will be either a Monday, Wednesday or Friday. What if I am not happy? We will endeavour to help with any concerns you may have. Your enjoyment at the centre is paramount to us but we do understand that a day service isn’t for everyone and sometimes it’s not the centre that is at fault. What do I need to do to arrange a visit?
