Remove the lid of the battery compartment by sliding it outward in the direction of the arrow. 2. Insert 2 UM4 / AAA / R3 batteries into the compartment. 3. Replace the lid. Using the Radio 1. Turn on the radio by rotating the volume knob. 2. Use the band selector to select band (FM/MW for RT234M, FM/LW for RT234L). 3. Use the tuning control to tune to your desired radio station. 4. Adjust the volume level. To enhance radio reception ability: FM: Extend the telescopic antenna.
