Introduction
The iPod® Compatible FM Transmitter/Car Charger allows you to play your music
library over your car or home stereo. No more flipping through radio stations to find
something you want to listen to! The FM Transmitter plugs into the dock connector and
is powered by your iPod- no awkward cables get in the way while you are enjoying your
music. The included car charger allows you to charge your iPod while on the road. It
plugs right into the FM transmitter so you can listen to your music while charging your
iPod.

Listen to your iPod over your car stereo
Charge your iPod with your car’s DC outlet (can use the FM transmitter function
separately or at the same time)
Easy to use- simply plug the FM transmitter into your iPod, find a radio station on
your stereo with weak/no broadcasting, set the FM transmitter to the same station
The digital display along with a wide transmission range make it easy to choose a
frequency that works best
Transmission range: 87.9MHz-107.9MHz (interval .1MHz)
Built-in memory stores the last frequency you used
Compatible with all iPods with a dock connector (will also work with iPhone® in
“airplane mode”)

Using your iPod Compatible FM Transmitter and Car
Charger

To listen to your iPod over your stereo:
1. Plug the FM Transmitter into the dock connector port on your iPod
2. Tune your stereo to a station with no signal or weak transmission
3. Press the +/- buttons on the FM Transmitter to match the same frequency on your
stereo
4. Repeat steps two and three above until you get clear broadcast of your iPod music
over your stereo
5. The FM transmitter will store the last frequency you set it to so only have to tune
your car stereo to the same frequency during the next use

To charge your iPod in the car:

Plug the FM Transmitter into the dock connector port on your iPod
Plug the Car Charger cable into the port on the side of the FM Transmitter
Plug the Car Charger into the DC outlet (cigarette lighter port) in your car
You can charge your iPod without playing your music over your car stereo or you
can follow the steps above to listen to your iPod at the same time
