With the X3, we expanded our portfolio to include a functional, elegant and cost-effective standard mid tower. A special feature is the practical sound
insulation that makes the X3 the ideal base for a particularly quiet office computer.
The front enclosure is a real eye-catcher - the central part of the plastic front is inspired by the appearance of brushed aluminum, giving the X3 a
particularly elegant look. One external 5.25 "drive bay can be found at the top of the front, which is equipped with a flip-down panel. This ensures a
consistent look, even if a different colored optical drive should be used. All conventional drives with tray drawer can be installed.
The chassis of the X3 is made from 0.5 mm thick steel and is carefully painted matte black. The case is characterized by a valent processed steel
chassis - carefully folded and deburred edges protect against cuts when installing the hardware. The front cover and the side panels of the X3 are
insulated with sound-absorbing foam.
The easily accessible I/O panel with 1 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0 and HD Audio ports can be found at the top of the front panel. Appropriate peripheral
devices can quickly and easily be connected from the front. The reset button can be found here as well. The power button is located in the upper
right corner of the front, the Power and HDD LED in the upper left corner.
Internally, the X3 offers a HDD cage for up to two 3.5 inch drives. The drives are secured with screws. If you like to mount a 2.5 inch drive, a suitable
installation space is located between 5.25 inch and 3.5 inch drive bay.
The Cooltek X3 is designed to minimize noise emissions. A pre-installed 80mm fan in the rear removes the heated air from the case interior. The X3
allows the installation of VGA cards with a maximum length of about 350 mm.
The X3 is designed for all conventional ATX power supplies. The power supply is installed at the top of the rear panel of the X3. Seven PCI
expansion slots are available at the back of the case. ATX and Micro ATX motherboards can be installed in the case.
