LED BACKLIGHTING – FOR EVEN MORE BRILLIANCE.
LED backlighting technology is a modern version of illumination in LCD monitors. Grundig uses “Edge LED” technology, with small LEDs arranged on all four sides of the monitor. They illuminate the entire surface of the panel.
The result is a picture display true to nature, in brilliant colours and with outstanding contrast. Using LEDs in
LCD TVs also reduces energy consumption and allows the housing of these models to be incredibly slim.
Another advantage is the long service life of the LEDs used.

THE GRUNDIG PICTURE PERFECTION RATE.
The Grundig Picture Perfection Rate particularly improves the quality of motion pictures. In addition to
the usual picture refresh rate of the panel (100 or 200 Hz), the Grundig Full Motion technology combined
with backlight scanning (flashing/dimming backlighting) ensures more visible details in scenes with fast
movements. Grundig Full Motion technology is based on the latest generation of powerful video processors which are built into the Grundig LCD TVs. With the help of these processors, the movements in the
programme currently on are analysed, additional images calculated (interpolated) and then inserted between the original images. This enables Grundig LCD TVs to reproduce high-quality pictures with a clear,
realistic display without any flickering or motion blur.
Television stations broadcast 50 fields per second. In addition to the fields, further fields are calculated and inserted using the
new Grundig Full Motion technology, which are calculated using the 100 or 200 Hertz technology of LCD panels. This results in
outstanding television pictures with completely fluid motion.
INTEGRATED GRUNDIG MULTIMEDIA PLAYER WITH THE DIVX PLUS HD STANDARD.
All the Grundig TVs in this catalogue have an integrated multimedia player certified according to the
DivX Plus HD standard. DivX Plus HD is the new, state-of-the-art standard for compressing HD videos.
Many video-on-demand platforms already use the DivX Plus HD standard.
Paid content protected by the DivX DRM code can be played on Grundig TVs with DivX Plus HD certification.

Digi 9000 – the latest addition from the era of the successful Grundig chassis. Integrated in the new
Grundig 9380 and 9372 TV models, this chassis is striking thanks to Motion Picture Improvement 2.0 with

technology, such as SMART inter@ctive TV 2.0 with a whole host of online options and interesting accessories, as well as USB recording 2.0 with further recording functions, extend the quality of the application
way beyond the actual television. Of course, everything is operated by the extremely user-friendly Grundig
Comfort Guide. All the major settings can be made intuitively thanks to the self-explanatory user guide.
THE GRUNDIG SAT CHANNEL ROUTER (GSCR) SINGLE CABLING
SYSTEM, MAKES CONVERTING TO SATELLITE TELEVISION EASY
AND CONVENIENT.
Satellite reception usually involves guiding a special cable from the
satellite dish or satellite distributor to each and every receiver. Not
with the Grundig TVs, which have the Grundig Sat Channel Router
(GSCR) single cabling system. Thanks to the inbuilt GSCR, Grundig
TVs can use the existing cable infrastructure in the house or flat for
the satellite signals. The Grundig GSCR single cable system is especially useful when installing a new, so-called star network would
be just too much work. The single cable system is also suitable for
those changing from cable to satellite television and have several
households or devices to provide for. A so-called SCR distributor is
required as an accessory (not supplied by Grundig) which feeds the
satellite signals into the network just like a router. Every TV in the
house has an address of its own, to which the pre-defined data is
sent. Up to eight units can be integrated into a GSCR system.

EXPERIENCE TELEVISION IN A NEW DIMENSION.
Be prepared for everything and plunge into the third dimension. Experience an
unrivalled home cinema experience with razor-sharp pictures. The polarised 3D
technology in the Grundig 3D LED TVs works using pole filters in the TV and the
accompanying 3D glasses, which polarise the light from two fields. This means the
viewer’s right and left eye see the TV pictures from slightly different perspectives.
These two fields are then blended into one spatial picture in the brain. As 3D perception not only functions when the viewer is sitting directly in front of the TV, but
also when the viewer moves to one side and watches from a much wider angle of
vision, we decided to include six pairs of 3D glasses with every Grundig 9380 and
9372 television. Then you can enjoy the 3D experience on the sofa with your family
or friends. And as you would expect, Grundig 3D LED televisions also allow USB
recording for 3D programmes received via digital DVB signals.
GRUNDIG USB RECORDING 2.0 – GET A FILM. LET THE FILM ROLL.
Turn your LCD TV into a USB video recorder: you can record films and play them back, all without an external DVD recorder – this is USB recording. You only need a Grundig LCD TV with USB recording functions,
a suitable USB stick or an external hard disk. One-touch recording of a TV programme currently running,
pre-programmed recording or the TimeShift function – the many LCD TVs offer all the benefits of USB
recording.

How much electricity does a television consume in standby mode
or when operating? Consumers can identify the power consumed
by televisions by glancing at the EU energy label. The labels with
the classes A++ to E indicate the efficiency. Green stands for
high efficiency, red for low efficiency. Grundig has been working
proactively for years to reduce the energy consumed by its televisions when operating as well as in standby mode. As a result,
all Grundig LED TVs fulfil the requirements for a classification
in the highest “green” energy efficiency classes. The Grundig

NOW YOU CAN USE AN APP – REMOTE CONTROL BY MOBILE PHONE.
Anyone with an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Android smartphone or tablet can access the features of the Grundig televisions even faster in future. With the free Grundig remote control
app, these appliances become fully-fledged TV remote controls. All you have to do is to
log the televisions and the mobile devices onto the same network. To make the apps easier
to operate, they even take on the design of the Grundig remote control. The option of using
the keyboard is especially practical for twittering text messages, searching for videos on
YouTube or entering internet addresses. The remote control app works with all the Grundig
SMART inter@ctive TVs.
GRUNDIG LED TVs AT THE CENTRE OF YOUR HOME NETWORK.
All new Grundig LED TVs (with a display diagonal of 26" or more) are network-capable and DLNA-certified.
This means that they can communicate effortlessly with any other DLNA-certified device in your home
network, even those made by other manufacturers. Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is an international association of entertainment electronics, IT hardware and mobile telephone manufacturers.
This aims to ensure perfect communication between IT devices in the home and personal use sector.
The system lets you load and play any accessible files on the network on your Grundig LED TV simply by
using the remote control – so you don’t need to waste time connecting a USB hard disk or burning DVDs.
Music, video and image files are transmitted to the LED TV via a wireless network (WLAN) using a wireless
stick (USB dongle). HD video files can be loaded at an even faster speed via the built-in cable network
connection in the LED TV.

TVs complete the networked world of Grundig. Like many other technologies, the future of television is also online, where you, the viewer, can
download your entertainment programme and any other information directly.
Thanks to SMART inter@ctive TV in the new Grundig LED TVs, you can access
a wide range of online services conveniently and directly without having to
connect through a PC. These online services appear on your screen in the
form of “widgets” (graphic icons), which allow user-friendly operation and
a high-quality graphic display. This gives you direct access to Facebook,
YouTube, funspot, Bild.de, World Weather Online – and many others ...
Many of the new Grundig televisions are already installed with the SMART
inter@ctive TV 2.0 version. Here you can download all the online services
you want directly onto your TV from Grundig’s App Store and then just access
them by clicking. The internet can also be accessed using an open browser
by entering the www address. Another feature of SMART inter@ctive TV 2.0
is the option of using apps (Facebook, TwitTalk and Baby Watch) at the same
time as you are watching television using a split-screen display.

HbbTV (Hybrid broadcast broadband TV) is a type of interactive, multimedia
and advanced teletext, which unites internet information and channel information on programmes being broadcast. In future, once the full potential of
HbbTV is exploited, television will become more interactive, more colourful
and even more entertaining for everyone. All public broadcasting companies
and major private broadcasters already provide HbbTV content, for instance
as background information on shows being broadcast. You can easily access
this information by pressing the red button on the remote control of your
Grundig TV. The media centres maintained by public broadcasters can be
accessed directly, allowing you to click on the programme of your choice
and watch it straight away.
VIDEO CALL CAMERA.
Using the “plugged into Skype TM” app already installed
on the television and the Video Call camera accessory,
you can make a call with excellent picture quality using
the television.
EASY MOUSE REMOTE CONTROL.
Your TV listens to your every word with the Easy Mouse remote
control available as an accessory. The built-in microphone makes it
easy to control the LED TV with voice commands. You can navigate

TELEPHONING WITH THE TV.
During the initial installation of the Grundig LED TVs with the
Digi 9000 and Digi 900 chassis, navigate to the Grundig App Store
under online settings. Here there are numerous online services
which you can install on your TV – such as the “Baby Watch” app.
Along with the Baby Watch camera with motion sensor available
as an accessory, an inset picture appears of your baby lying in
bed in the nursery as soon as the child moves or cries. So you can
always keep an eye on everything and carry on watching television.
The WLAN frequencies are used in the home network for reliable
transmission. The camera also works in the dark due to an inbuilt
infra-red light.
Using the “plugged into Skype TM” already installed and Video Call
camera available as an accessory, you can make a call from the
comfort of your living room in excellent picture quality using the
television with up to 1,280 x 800 pixels. The Video Call camera is
simply attached to the top of the frame on the Grundig LED TV with
a flexible holder. Two special inbuilt microphones ensure excellent
speech clarity.

AVAILABLE AS AN ACCESSORY.
The new Grundig LED TVs with the Digi 9000 and Digi 900 chassis
listen to your every word with the Easy Mouse remote control available as an accessory. The remote control makes it easy to control
the LED TV with voice commands. You can navigate in the open
browser just as fast as on a PC with the air mouse function (motion
control). The Easy Mouse remote control also has a headphone
connection so that, for instance, those with impaired hearing can
be connected directly for better perception of the TV sound, and
move around the room freely at the same time. Charging unit and
high-speed wireless adapter are supplied.
DUAL GAMING:
TWO PLAYERS, TWO PICTURES.
This feature benefits from the 3D-capability of the new Grundig
LED TVs with the Digi 9000 and Digi 900 chassis. The polarising 3D
technology works using pole filters in the TV and the accompanying
3D glasses, which polarise the light from two fields. This means
the viewer’s right and left eye see the TV pictures from slightly
different perspectives. These two fields are then blended into one
spatial picture in the brain. In contrast, the dual gaming glasses
available as accessories are either right polarised or left polarised
in both glasses. This means that only one half of the 3D picture
is shown for the viewer. “Dual Gaming” allows 2 players to each
see only their own complete picture in a 2D game (e. g. Need for
Speed). Each player gets either left or right polarised glasses on
their own 2D full screen display of the game over the complete
width of the TV screen.

Our SMART receivers make every Grundig LED TV into a SMART TV. Get connected
and make the most of the whole range of televisions 2.0. The DSB 8350 gives you
access to any of the online services and media centres from the various broadcasters.
Useful functions, such as Baby Watch or Skype, are also available as apps as well as
the Baby Watch and Video Call cameras.
When Grundig televisions and Grundig receivers are connected
via HDMI-DigiLink (CEC), the TVs (TP 7, TP 8, TP 9) system remote
control operates all the functions of the receiver. Of course, if
you have the Grundig remote control app, this also works with
an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Android smartphone, provided the
Grundig SMART inter@ctive TV and Grundig receiver are connected
