The Plustek MobileOffice C500 is a document and camera type scanner that uses a 5 Megapixel color CMOS
sensor. It enables visual presentation, image capture (scanning) ,video recording and projection of documents or
objects.
The MobileOffice C500 features Auto Focus that can precisely focus on any flat document or 3D object. You can
capture books, magazines, business cards, plastic cards and documents and save them as digital files in seconds
and instantly present and share these images.
In addition to capturing documents or 3D objects, the MobileOffice C500’s unique vertical mechanical design and
built-in microphone enable you to use it as web-camera for video conferencing. . You can even use it as video
recorder for distance based learning, product demonstrations, training and meetings.
The MobileOffice C500 is a complete solution for education or business that includes ABBYY FineReader Sprint
(Optical Character Recognition) to turn scanned document images into text files (included word, excel, text) or
searchable PDF. HotCard BizCard Finder (Business Card Recognition) is included to scan and manage your
contacts.
