Vision CS-1600 ceiling mounted speakers are passive 8-ohm low impedance speakers vision cs-1600 don’t sacrifice
frequency range in the way that the transformer on 100/70v speakers inherently do, meaning lower bass extension
and higher treble without distortion.
Powerful and robust 30W power handling from the vision cs-1600 translates into loud sound with no distortion and
with a frequency response of 80Hz -20kHz response the 2-way design offers full-bandwidth delivery with control and
clarity.
Improved crossover design on the vision cs-1600 provides superb off-axis dispersion characteristics. Ceiling speakers
inherently lack power at the bottom end, so Vision cs-1600 have been tuned to have a slightly louder sensitivity of 89dB
to punch through high-noise environments. The 6.5” WOOFER, (Main speaker unit) of the cs-1600 is a 6.5”
polypropylene cone with a 3/4” Ferro-fluid cooled silk tweeter set in a swivel mount for fine tuning of the
stereoscopic image.
The Vision CS 1600 speaker is designed for unobtrusive sound dispersion whilst mounted flush into false ceilings
and ceiling tiles or deep custom made plaster board cavity walls, a perfect alternative for situations where wall
speakers are not appropriate.
Simple to install, a cardboard template is provided so that you can cut out the hole by hand using a pad saw or just
purchase a 210mm hole-saw with an arbor (Not Included) from your local hardware supplier to drill the required hole
size into the surface where the speaker will be mounted you, can then connect your speaker wires directly into the
spring loaded terminals and fit the speaker in place! It’s clean and easy, job done.
