A highly secure and fast RAID storage solution, the LaCie
Biggest Quadra offers optimal processing potential by
harnessing the power of four disks in one tower. The
Biggest Quadra supports RAID levels 0, 0+1 and 5,
as well as RAID 5+hot spare so you can choose your
configuration depending on if you need security, speed/
capacity - or a combination of them.
The LaCie Biggest Quadra allows for hot-swapping should
a drive fail, with automatic data rebuilding to a new drive
without downtime. With the added option of designating
one of the drives a hot spare, the Biggest Quadra will automatically replace a faulty one. For additional protection, it
will automatically react to a drive, fan or power failure and
even shut down above a temperature of 55° C to preserve
itself and your data.
