It is a Pocket PC cradle that dramatically improves the in-car personal navigation experience by providing robust mounting, single motion insertion/extraction with a minimum of cabling. The installation components included in this box, allow you to attach the TomTom Car Kit to your dashboard or windshield in a flexible or more permanent way. Simply slide the Pocket PC into the cradle and it will be held securely in place. And, moreover, your Pocket PC will be automatically powered via the cigarette lighter socket. If you use the TomTom Car Kit in combination with TomTom Navigator, your GPS receiver will be automatically powered and also connected to your Pocket PC via the cradle.
