USER’S MANUAL HS-IPADCASE2-3IN1 BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD CASE BT Keyboard Case Set up Instructions for the Ipad Keyboard Case Step I Setting up the iPad • Insert the iPad into the Case. • Secure the bottom strap to prevent the Ipad from slipping out of the case. 2 BT Keyboard Case • Use the built in kick stand feature to position the iPad comfortably. Step II How to connect the Bluetooth Keyboard to the iPad • Turn the Bluetooth keyboard on by using the power button on the right side of the keyboard • Then press the bluetooth button to put the Keyboard into “Pairing Mode”. • Turn the iPad ON, Unlock the iPad, and tap “Settings”. 3 BT Keyboard Case • Tap “Bluetooth” and then switch to ON (If not on already). • The iPad will show a list of available and connected bluetooth devices. • Look for Bluetooth Keyboard in the list and tap it. (It should say Not Paired if the devices were never paired.) 4 BT Keyboard Case • Click on the “Bluetooth Keyboard”. • A new window should pop up on the iPad screen with the Passkey. The passkey is needed to connect the Bluetooth keyboard to the iPad. • Enter the passkey on the Bluetooth keyboard followed by the return or enter key • The Bluetooth Keyboard is now successfully connected to the iPad and is ready to use. 5 BT Keyboard Case Using the Bluetooth keyboard with the iPad after it has been paired • To connect the iPad to the bluetooth keyboard, turn the power switch ON and then press the bluetooth button on the Bluetooth keyboard. It is now ready to use • When the power is turned ON, the light on the right top of the keyboard will flash blue ONCE. • When you activate the Bluetooth radio, the light will blink once every second. The device is now in “Pairing Mode”. • When the device is connected, the blue light will blink 2 times every 10 seconds. • When charging, a GREEN light will come on and stay on until charging is complete. To fully charge, please switch the keyboard OFF. About The Bluetooth Keyboard: • This Keyboard is customized just for the iPad; therefore, some keys are unique 6 BT Keyboard Case iPad functions (see the image below for a list of those functions). *The built-in lithium battery has an operation duration of 120 hours, in standby mode it will last up to 2 months when fully charged. Charge the device by connecting the USB cable to an appropriate power supply (e.g. USB Port on laptop or PC). Pairing only needs to be done ONCE unless you delete the device from the Bluetooth Devices list. Repeat Step II to reconnect device. If the keys are responding slowly or not at all, try charging the battery. • Check the power switch, make sure it is on. When it is on, the power light on the top right of the keyboard will flash Blue. • Power OFF and ON and delete device from Bluetooth devices list and reconnect Keyboard to iPad. • Verify that the correct passkey is being entered before pressing Enter on the Keyboard. 8
