1.1 Functions and features
The EM6555 Lamp Holder is an ideal addition to the e-Centre. Assign, using a few
simple steps, the lamp holder to the Eminent e-Centre. The EM6555 is designed to
switch your lights on and off. The EM6555 fits into any E27 (large) lamp socket. Enjoy
the luxury of switching your lights on or off while relaxing on the couch. Just press one
button on the EM6500 e-Centre to switch your lights on or off. You can also switch the
lights on and off by using the handy manual button on the EM6555 itself.

2.0 Using the lamp holder
A few short and simple steps are necessary to connect and assign the lamp holder to
the EM6500 e-Centre.
There are two situations possible:
•
Assigning the lamp holder to a new e-Centre (see chapter 2.1)
•
Assigning the lamp holder to an existing e-Centre (see chapter 2.2)
2.1 Assign the lamp holder to a new Eminent e-Centre

You assign the lamp holder to a Eminent e-Centre during the e-Centre’s initial
installation process.
Make sure the E27 socket, in which you want to install the lamp holder, is
switched off.
Screw the lamp holder into the E27 lamp socket and switch the socket on.
The installation wizard of the e-Centre will move along several steps during the
installation process of the e-Centre itself, meaning you can add all your
e-Domotica devices through the e-Centre’s own website ‘http://e-Centre’.
Attention! During the installation procedure you will be asked to press the button on
the lamp holder. This is needed to connect the lamp holder to the e-Centre.
2.2 Adding the lamp holder to the already installed
e-Centre

Make sure the E27 socket, in which you want to install the lamp holder, is
switched off.
2. Screw the lamp holder into the E27 lamp socket and switch the socket on.
3. Make sure your computer is completely started.
4. Open your computer’s web browser.
5. Type in the web browser’s address bar: ’http://e-Centre’ and press the ‘Enter’ bar
on your keyboard.
6. The e-Centre’s openings screen will be shown.
7. Click ‘e-Domotica Products’.
8. Click ‘Add’.
9. Press the button on the lamp holder.
10. Your lamp holder will be found.

11. Give the device a name and give a location to the lamp holder.

Make sure your computer is completely started.
Make sure the E27 socket is switched on.
Open your computer’s web browser.
Type in your web browser’s address bar: ‘http://e-Centre’ and press ‘Enter’.
The Eminent e-Centre’s openings screen will be shown.
Click ‘e-Domotica products’.
Click the ‘Remove’ button.
Press the button on the lamp holder.
The lamp holder has now been removed.

What is de maximum amount of electrical power the lamp holder can
handle?
The lamp holder can safely handle a light bulb of up to 100 Watts, or an energy
saving bulb of up to 27 Watts
Does the EM6555 lamp holder support the repeater function?
Yes, the EM6555 lamp holder supports the repeater function. Using this
function, the wireless signal of other supported e-Domotica devices will be
picked up, and then it will be broadcasted forward. This way, the wireless range
of the e-Domotica is virtually unlimited. In order to use the repeater
function, click the ‘Optimize’ button in the e-Centre’s webpage once the
product has been added.

5.0 Warranty conditions
The five-year Eminent warranty applies to all Eminent products unless mentioned
otherwise before or during the moment of purchase. When having bought a secondhand Eminent product the remaining period of warranty is measured from the moment
of purchase by the product’s first owner.
The Eminent warranty applies to all Eminent products and parts inextricably
connected to and/or mounted on the main product. Power supply adapters, batteries,
antennas and all other products not integrated in or directly connected to the main

product and/or products of which, without reasonable doubt, can be assumed that
wear and tear show a different pattern than the main product are not covered by the
Eminent warranty. Products are not covered by the Eminent warranty when subjected
to incorrect/improper use, external influences and/or when opened by parties other
than Eminent.

To ensure your safety and compliance of the product with the directives and laws
