If you are about to purchase a Blu-ray player and are thinking
of upgrading your amplifier to take advantage of the latest

speaker package, fear not. Sony offers a range of connectivity
and configuration options in its receivers that maximise audio
performance in any configuration.
Sony’s range of 7.1 channel amplifiers offer the ability to set up in 7.1,
5.1 and even 5.1 with Bi-Amp connection. Quality speaker packages
allow the front speakers to be Bi-Wired or Bi-Amp’d for improved
performance. A Bi-Amp’d speaker has two amplifiers connected to a
single speaker. Each amp is focused on powering bass or treble to the
speaker reducing the load on the amp and increasing performance.
Simply connect, then select Bi-Amp in the Amplifier menu, run the
