reverse the plug. tf it still does not ffi, contact a qualified electncian to install a polarized outlet.
Do not change the plug in any way. Double rnsuiat~on
eliminates the need for the three-wire
grounded power mrd and grounded power supply system.
*Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators.
Them is an increased risk of electric slwck if your body is grounded.
* De not expose generator to rainor wet conditions. Water enteringa generator will increase the
riskof etectrlc shock.
* Do not abuse the power cord. Keep power cords away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or modng
parts. Replace damaged power cords immediately. Darnagedpower cords increase the risk of
electric shock.
* When operating a power tool outMe, tcse an wtdoor extension cwd marked W-A" or W".
These axtension cords are rated for outdoor use,and radvce the &I( of electric shock.

Do not force thegenerator. Usa the correct generator for your application. The correct generator
will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it is designed.
Do not use the generator if the power switchdoes not turn it on or off. Any generator that cannot
be controlled w~ththepowerswitch is dangerous and must be replaced.
Generator Use and Care
Make sure the power switch is inRs "OFF" position and disconnect the spark plug wire before
making any adlustmant, changing accessories. or storing the generator. Such prwwlt~vesafety
measures reduce the rrsk of starting the generator accidentally.
Store idlegenerators out of reach of children and other untrained persons. Generators are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintaingenerators with care. Do not use damaged generator. Tag damaged generators "Do not
use" until reoaired.
Check for misatignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other conditionthat
may affect the generator's operation. If damaged, have the generator swviced before using. Many
acc~dentsare caused by poorly maintaind generators.
Use only accessoriesthat are recommended by the manufacturerfor yow model. Accessories that
may be suitable for one generator may become hazardouswhen used on another generator.
Whensewicing a generator, useonly identical repfacement parts. Follow all appropriate
iwtructions in this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow maintenanceinstructions
may create a risk of electtic shock or injury.
