Inserting/Removing the battery
There are 2 batteries provided for this mobile device, standard and large capacity.
Lodge the protruding part of the

Hints on Battery Usage Times
For the instances below, usage times can be shorter than indicated on p. 8.
y Battery usage times will differ according service type (slot mode) of the base station where the mobile device is
located.
y Standby time will be dramatically reduced if you frequent a non-service region or stay there for an extended
period of time due to excessive battery consumption.
y Excessive battery consumption occurs in regions with weak signals or with overlapping channels (base
stations).
y Standby time will be dramatically reduced with longer call sending and receiving times.
y Battery consumption will increase with use of optional functions such as saving numbers on your mobile device
and other optional functions.
y As batteries are consumables, the usage time will gradually become shorter with time.
What is a Slot mode?
Note
Signals are transmitted at regular intervals by the wireless base station to identify the mobile device location of each user. This is referred to as
Slot mode and standby time will decrease with the greater number of sessions the signals are transmitted. Transmission interval is determined
by the base station, and domestic intervals are approximately 2.5 second or 5 seconds.
Batteries are consumables
As batteries are consumables, the usage time will gradually become shorter with time. It is time to replace your battery if the battery life
decreases by half.

Safety precautions and warnings for battery use
Do not apply external force to your battery including dropping it or disassemble it!
This may result in damages or reduce battery life and become potentially hazardous due to overheating.
Do not place the battery in a heating device including heaters or microwaves!
It may result in explosion.
Use only authorized SEC chargers!
Using unauthorized not manufactured by SEC may result in overheating and explosion and can result in damages.
Prevent objects with electric currents including necklaces or coins from coming into contact with the battery metal connector.
Battery and the object making contact can become overheated and cause a fire.
Do not place the battery in high-temperature sealed spaces with direct sunlight including car windows and store the battery in room
temperature between 0 °C and 40 °C!
The appearance may alter and can result in damage.
Please keep out of reach of children!
Placing the battery in the mouth or using damaged batteries may be hazardous to health. If fluid leaks from the damage-induced
battery and comes into contact with the skin, wash under with running water for 1-2 minutes.
Do not use these batteries for other use than for SEC mobile devices!

●전파가 약하거나 채널(기지국)이 중첩되는 지역에서는 배터리 소모가 많습니다.
●전화를 걸고 받는 통화시간이 많을수록 대기시간은 급격히 짧아집니다.

슬롯모드란?
●무선기지국에서 각 사용자의 휴대폰 위치를 파악하기 위해서 일정한 시간(주기)마다 교신을 합니다. 이것을 슬롯모드라고 하며 교신
횟수가 많을수록 대기시간이 짧아집니다. 교신주기는 무선기지국에서 결정하며 국내경우 약 2.5초 또는 5초 주기로 교신을 하고
