Astra machine from Unipart in Glasgow to continue their
successful growth strategy.
Brian and Alister launched the proposition by offering customers
a simple air conditioning diagnostic check for between £10 + £20.
This enabled their customer base to learn about the importance of
air conditioning recharging and soon the recharges started to get
booked in.
Gryffe Garage charge around £49 for a full recharge and like the
fact that they can go and do other jobs while the recharge is taking
place. They anticipate doing at least one full recharge a day at £49
and grossing at least £10,000 annually.

The RRYSGL35-3 is the most cost-effective entrance into the world of hydraulic
2 post lifts. Compact dimensions, 3 stage supporting arm design and an
ergonomic control allow for efficient operation in the car repair shop.
Features include:
Ground guided bearing cables ensure even lifting and lowering.
The mechanical safety latch integrated on both columns locks the lift carriage in position in emergency situations
and thus ensures maximum safety.
The electro-hydraulic design provides for low noise and effective work.
Each lifting column features a maintenance-free high pressure cylinder.
The lifting arms are automatically locked in position during the raising operation. Once the lift has been completely

HYDRAULIC TWO-POST LIFTS
Electro-hydraulic, SPL series, two-post lifts can be adapted to
fit the application and available space. The design of the posts
and lifting arms also provides a spacious work area.
Features include:
Low operating costs – minimum energy usage - one electric motor for lifting and gravity lowering.
Non load bearing cables ensure even lifting and lowering.
The mechanical safety latch integrated on both columns locks the lift carriage in position in
emergency situations and thus ensures maximum safety.
The electro-hydraulic design provides for low noise and efficient operation.
Each lifting column features a maintenance-free high pressure cylinder.
The lifting arms are automatically locked in position during the raising operation. Once the lift
has been completely lowered, this interlock is automatically released. The very narrow spacing
between the locking positions and a manual unlocking function enhance the ease of use and
ensures compliance with CE standard EN1493.
An upper limit bar prevents the vehicle from being lifted too high. This feature protects taller
vehicles from being damaged.
The base frame free design eliminates the risk of trip hazards on the workshop floor and eases
use of transmission jacks and waste oil drainers.
