Our Story
Automated Video Systems or AVS, established in 1998, designs and
manufactures professional grade video surveillance systems. AVS created the EZWatch Pro surveillance line of products in early 2000. The
goal of the product line was to provide a low cost professional grade
surveillance system that could be easily installed and used by a person
with little or no ―high tech‖ background. Since it’s beginning thousands
of EZWatch Pro systems have been sold and installed, providing superior performance, value, reliability and customer satisfaction. EZWatch
Pro has truly established itself as one of the most friendly yet powerful
surveillance systems on the market.
All products developed and sold through AVS have been developed and tested by actually installing the equipment in
real security applications over the past several years. From small town USA to the 911 Baghdad Emergency Dispatch
Center, our equipment is installed and operating. All equipment, software and installation procedures are "tried and true" tested in over
60,000 different installations.
About Us
The company's main corporate offices and customer support center is
located in a new state of the art 14,000 sq. foot facility located in Salt
Lake City,
Utah. This facility also supports our software programming department as well as our purchasing department. Two nearby warehouse facilities provide product control, packaging and shipping
services.
Customer Support: We maintain one of the industry's largest
customer support departments, providing live unlimited customer support. Each and every one of our 22 support representatives have completed extensive training on all of our products and have extensive knowledge on product application

EZWatch Pro
EZWatch Pro is a PC based video surveillance and recording system. Being PC based allows for
unmatched flexibility. Our systems store months of crisp clear video while providing all the latest
performance and features including remote viewing, motion activated recording and much more.
The system expands in groups of 4 and supports up to 64 cameras.
Two Performance Levels
All EZWatch kits are offered in two performance levels. Both
include all the system features of EZWatch 4.0, but the frames
per second and recording resolution vary based on the grade.
For most applications the Value Grade provides great performance. But for those high end, high performance applications we
recommend the Professional Grade.
Value Grade:
640 x 480 Resolution @ 7.5 fps per camera
Professional Grade:
704 x 480 Resolution @ 30 fps per camera
Complete DVR’s or build your own!
Our kits offer the ability to choose between a kit which includes the DVR or not. If you choose a kit without the PCDVR, the kit includes the software and hardware video capture card which you install on a PC you provide.
Included is an easy to follow quick start guide which walks you through the 5-10 minute install.
If you choose to have the PC included, the system is shipped with the hardware installed and the software loaded
and configured. All you have to do is plug in the cameras and turn the unit on.
E-Z to Install Customized Kits
We provide complete easy to install systems from 2-48 cameras. The kits include the cable, cameras, parts,
instruction manuals and ―how to‖ guides. The kits can be customized with different cameras and materials to fit
your specific installation. Just give us a call to customize a kit or go on-line.

The smart guard system allows for many triggers to be configured such as; object missing detection, foreign object detection, signal loss, security camera view blocked, security camera out of focus and general motion. On detection, the system
can respond in a variety of ways which include; sending an email alert, making a telephone call, sounding an alarm, redirecting an optional Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera to that location or triggering an external relay. Of course if you ever need help

The E-Z Track PTZ Dome Camera automatically tracks people and vehicles as they move
through the cameras field of view.
Auto Tracking Operation: This feature is set for each camera with easy on-screen menus. Each camera is set to a
―Home‖ position which provides a wide view of the area of concern. When movement appears, such as a vehicle or individual, the camera will lock onto the object and track it until the object moves out of the camera's viewing capability. The
camera then returns to its ―Home‖ position and once again monitors for movement.
Pan-Tilt-Zoom PTZ
Software Operation: Up to sixteen E-Z Track PTZ cameras can be supported on each system. The EZWatch Pro software
allows you to manually control any selected camera as well as program customized tours for each camera. Pan, tilt and
zoom with a click of your mouse button.
E-Z on Screen Programming: Each camera is easily programmed to perform as needed. The on-screen menus allow you
to set the motion sensitivity, the auto tracking rules, the areas you want motion to activate tracking, and any pan, tilt,
zoom limits you wish to use.
Joystick Control: In addition to using the software controls you can also control and program multiple cameras using the
AU40E or AU40Z joystick controller. This control allows you to set custom parameters for each camera and can also be
used to control and operate up to sixteen cameras. Both the Joystick control and the EZWatch Pro software can be use

Auto Tours: Each camera can be programmed to run custom tours panning, tilting and zooming up to sixteen preset locations automatically.
