2 JULY 2009 (MORNING SESSION)
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF PAM
PAM 2009 Convention kick-starts this 2-5 July 2009 at Kuala Lumpur
Convention Centre, Malaysia, to congregate PAM members and
architects, interior designers, quantity surveyors, engineers, developers,
contractors and other building fraternity professionals, all at this one
place to build networks, share views and news, source for products and
participate in new product launches.
This four-day event brings together ARCHIDEX 09 (10th Malaysia
Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition) and several other
important and exciting events, held concurrently at this Convention
Centre.
ARCHIDEX 09 will showcase more than 800 booths by over 300
companies, locally and from abroad in 6 halls of the Convention Centre.
The exhibition is the best platform to source for innovative products
of high standards, designs and services for architecture, interior design
and the built environment. For the first time also, Austria is the Country
Partner of ARCHIDEX 09 and will showcase products and services of
some highly reputable Austrian companies.
I take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to our local and
foreign delegates and speakers of DATUM: KL 2009, KL Design Forum
09, Green Building Forum and exhibitors and visitors of ARCHIDEX
09. These exciting events lined up for PAM 2009 Convention will be
beneficial for the industry and its professionals.
2 JULY 2009 (AFTERNOON SESSION)
Besides that, Architects attending several of the events in the Convention
are entitled up to 12 CPD Points. There will be a whole series of cocktail
evenings for architects and interior designers and the building industry
professionals such as the Architects’ Day, PAM Members’ Night and the
Professionals Networking Evening on 3 July and Designers’ Day on 2 July.
The Building Industry Dinner and Architectural Site Visits will be held
on 4 July and 5 July respectively, while the inaugural ARCHIDEX 09 Golf
Challenge Trophy will be held on 1 July as a Pre-Convention event.

The power to open the spout is generated in a cylinder driven by a low voltage
electric current (12 Volts DC) from a remote joystick control and the water will
not flow until the spout of the tap is in the top position. When the water is
turned off the spout will remain up until the lever is activated once more.
Jeli Blunero granite is a dense semi-metamorphic igneous rock. This granite
has the ability to take a good gloss polish. It is very suitable to be used both for
internal and external floor and wall usage.

controlling a consistent foam mortar mix, perfected by RBM Building Machinery
Trading Sdn Bhd (RBM) uses the foam concrete comprising ingredients mixed
in specific compositions and pumped into formwork. Once the foam concrete
dries, the formwork is dismantled and the partition walls are ready, in triple
quick time!
The RBM-1000 comes in a complete system comprising mixer, hopper, pump,

The UV tube was designed in a ‘U’ shape to ensure the UV rays and the dishware
