LTD. 2 Tray to Fill Bottle How your Livpure RO works Particulate Filter :The water passes through the particulate filter which removes fine and coarse particles of impurities from water. Pre Activated Carbon Filter with High Adsorption Capacity:It adsorbs chlorine and organic impurities like harmful pesticides from water. It also adsorbs bad taste and odour - causing organic compounds from water. High Performance Composite RO Membrane:The RO removes bacteria, virus, protozoa, parasites and reduces dissolved salts, hardness, pesticides. It also reduces heavy metals like Fluoride, Arsenic, Cadmium and Mercury. High Intensity UV Rays Disinfection* The water is simultaneously passed through UV process from taste enhancer and deactivates virus and Bacteria present in water. The water from RO membrane is also passed through UV for double purification. *Feature available in envy + only. Manufactured by: WATER TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD. 3 Installation Instructions The Livpure RO Water Purifier is equipped with the most advanced technology, which ensures safe and pure drinking water. Livpure RO water purifier is easy and convenient to install & use. Recommended site preparations: 220 V single phase AC connection not more than 1.5 metres away from the point of installation of purifier. Raw water supply with ½ inch nipple not more than 2 metres away. Drain for rejected water not more than 2 metres away. Make sure that the installing area is uniform and clean. Installation procedure: Please install on the wall if required with the help of two 10 X 50 self taping screws (supplied with the unit) on a horizontal level. Starting up the purifier Switch on the power supply. Wait approximately for 45 mins so that storage tank gets fully filled. Switch off the power supply. Drain the storage tank so as to remove any dust particles present in the pipes and storage tank. Switch on the power supply. The purifier is ready to use. Recommended uses of rejected water Although the rejected water has high concentration of salts, it is absolutely clean and free of impurities like chlorine, dirt, sand, etc. which are present in raw water. This rejected water usually goes down the drain but if required, can be used for cleaning / mopping purposes after disinfection. Recommended uses of Taste Enhancer The Taste Enhancer functions on muncipal water supply on TDS<100ppm. Manufactured by: WATER TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD. 4 Important Instructions X GEYSER X Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and installation in damp areas. Rejected Water X Make sure that the purifier is connected to cold water supply only. X Make sure that the rejected water pipe is not placed at a level higher from the purifier, otherwise rejected water may flow backwards into the purifier. 2M Water Source Water in The maximum distance between the water source and the purifier should not be more than 2 metres. X X Do not confine the purifier in a closed cabinet. Avoid sharp bends in the pipe. Do not bend or block the rejected water pipe. In case of not using the purifier for more than two days, kindly switch off the power supply and drain the storage tank. To keep the storage tank clean, it should be drained once in 15 days. LTD. 6 FAQ’s 1) What does TDS (total dissolved solids) mean ? Total dissolved solids is a measure of dissolved inorganic substances in water. 2) How does Livpure RO work ? Envy Plus has a 6 stage purification process which ensures water you get is pure, safe and it also reduces excessive salts (TDS) to make your water sweeter and tastier. 1ststage: The water passes through the particulate filter which removes fine and coarse particulate impurities from water. 2ndstage: Activated carbon filter, that removes chlorine and organic impurities like harmful pesticides from water. It also adsorbs bad taste and odour from water. 3rd stage: The water is passed through high performance composite RO membrane which removes bacteria, virus, protozoa, parasites, cysts, algae, fungi. It also reduces dissolved salts, hardness, pesticides and heavy metals like fluoride, arsenic, cadmium & mercury. 4thstage: The water is simultaneously passed through UV process from the taste enhancer and deactivates virus and bacteria present in water. The water from RO membrane is also passed through UV for double purification. 5th stage: In the final stage the water will pass through UF membrane to ensure double purity. 6th stage: This is the final stage of purification. Silver Nano technology prevents bacterial growth and gives you pure and tasty water. 3) How much time it takes to purify water by Livpure RO? Livpure can purify water upto 15 litres per hour. However, the time taken to purify depends on the impurities present in water, input water pressure, TDS level and life of filters. 4) What is the storage capacity of Livpure Envy? Livpure Envy has a storage tank capacity of 8.0 litres. The process of filling the storage tank is fully automatic and when you take water out of the tank, the purification process starts automatically and refills the storage tank. 5) How will I get service/ spare parts for my Livpure? During the warranty period of one year we provide one free replacement of (Particulate Filter and Pre Activated Carbon Filter).You can get the number printed in user's manual. Post warranty of the machine you have two choices for service contracts ACMC (Annual Comprehensive Maintenance Contract) AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract). Under ACMC all the spares including the consumables are replaced free of cost when required and in AMC only visit of customer care representative is free and spares are charged extra. 6) Is water from first purification cycle fit to drink? No. It is recommended to drain the first cycle of water that is filled in the storage tank when the new Livpure RO is installed, and also whenever cartridges are Manufactured by: WATER TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD. 7 FAQ’s 7) What should I do if there is no water in the storage tank? In case there is no water in the storage tank we suggest the following preliminary checks by customers: a) Check if there is water supply b) Check if there is power supply If answers to both cases are true, please call Livpure customer support center. 8) Can I service on my own? It is not recommended to open your Livpure RO water purifier and service it by individual. Call our Livpure customer support centre for any issues related to service & opening the machine. 9) What should I do with rejected water? Although rejected water has high concentration of salts, it is absolutely clean and free of impurities like chlorine, dirt and sand. This rejected water can be used for cleaning and mopping purposes after disinfection. 10) What should I do if there is a leakage from the purifier? In case of leakage from the purifier, switch off the purifier. Check for any visual improper fitment like tap or connection to purifier. Call our Livpure customer support number and register for a service request. 11) How long the water in Livpure RO can be used for drinking? You can use stored water for upto 48 hrs. If it is not used within 48 hours, we advise you to discard that water, refill and consume. Trouble Shooting S.No. 1. LTD. 9 Warranty Terms & Conditions Luminous Water Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (LWTPL) warrants all new products manufactured by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage and service from the date of installation as under: 1. The product is warranted against any manufacturing defects arising out of any faulty or defective material on workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of final invoice to customer commitment shall be applicable. 2. The LWTPL responsibility under this warranty will confine to the first purchaser only and will not apply or extend to any subsequent sale of the product by the customer. 3. The LWTPL liability under this warranty shall remain valid if and only if the product is duly installed by the company, its authorized dealer/s service provider at the address specified in the invoice or where the installation is at a place other than specified in the invoice. Such installation is undertaking with the consent in writing of and by the company confined to cities where company has service network. 4. Consumables such as sediment filter, c a r b o n f i l t e r, r e v e r s e o s m o s i s membrane, anti scalant cartridge, UF membrane and post carbon filter which are subject to normal wear & tear in the course of use are not covered by this warranty. 5. Inspection & test report of the LWTPL office/service centre will be treated as final & binding under the warranty for determining defects, repairs/alterations required or carried out, or certifying working of the goods thereafter. 6. The LWTPL liability under the warranty will be limited only to defect which occur under condition of normal operation and under proper use as defined in manual. It excludes defects occurring because of abuse, faulty care or maintenance, repairs/ alterations to goods or parts by others. 7. LTD. 10 this warranty in respect of death/injury to any person or loss/damage to any property caused as a result of equipment failure, breakdown or accident on utilization of goods not in accordance with the inflections in this user's manual or any other circumstance beyond the control of the LWTPL. 8. The LWTPL shall be entitled to retain any defective part replaced under warranty. 9. Product returned to LWTPL or its authorized service provider for warranty examination must be shipped, freight pre-paid. 10. LWTPL reserves the right to make design and product changes or change specifications at anytime without any contingent obligations to prospective buyers or owners or products previously sold. 11. Any disagreement and obligations based upon purchase of LWTPL products and thereby imposed on LWTPL or its authorized service providers shall be governed and construed according to the laws of India and subject to jurisdiction of Delhi courts only. 12. LWTPL or its authorized service provider assures no warranty liability in connection with this water purifier other than that specified herein. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. LWTPL or its authorized service provider does not authorize any person or representative to assume for it any other obligations on the sale of goods. This warranty becomes effective when the system is installed correctly and successfully. 13. Under no circumstances the terms mentioned above are negotiable and no employee of LWTPL or its authorized service provider has the authority to supersede the terms mentioned above.
