Zwirn, School Counselor Announcing Career Cruising and Method Test Prep for the SAT and ACT This year, GCS is continuing its contract with the outstanding student website resource Career Cruising. Students using Career Cruising can extensively research both careers and colleges. For the first time, GCS has extended its contract with Career Cruising to include Method Test Prep, a remarkable SAT and ACT test preparation program for students. To access Method Test Prep (MTP) you will need to create a Career Cruising My Plan account. To do this, please: 1. Go to www.careercruising.com 2. Login with GCS login and password (Contact the Counseling Office for login and password). 3. Click on “Login to My Plan” from the top left corner 4. Click on Create My Plan from the right side of the drop down menu 5. Complete the required fields to create a My Plan account *you will use the Username and Password created here to access Career Cruising and MTP the next time you login. To access Method Test Prep: 1. Ensure you are logged into your My Plan account 2. Click on “(insert your name) My Plan” from the top left corner of the screen 3. Scroll halfway down the page and locate the Method Test Prep (see screen shot) 4. Click on “Go to Method Test Prep” 5. You’re there! Method Test Prep is intuitive and user friendly; however, if you would like to browse the complete, 24page user manual, I have posted it on the front page of the Counseling Office website: http://www.greenwichcsd.org/hs/counseling/ Please enjoy Career Cruising and Method Test Prep and use it to your advantage.
