Instructions for Clarke Ramp It is important that you read the entire document to become familiar with the unit before you use this product. Safety Warning and Precautions WARNING: When using this product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment. 1. Check for damage. Before using this product, always check for any damage that may affect its operation. If in doubt – DO NOT USE- consult your supplier. 2. Keep the ramp clean. Prior to each use, clean dirt, oil, or any debris off the ramp. 3. Make sure of proper ground contact. Use your ramp on solid, dry, level, flat surface. Make sure that the tongue edge fully contacts the platform. 4. Do not force or overload the product. It will do the job better and more safely at the rate for which it was intended. Do not use inappropriate attachments in an attempt to exceed the product capacity. 5. Store the idle equipment. When not in use, ramps should be stored in a dry location to prevent damage from moisture and salt air. Maintenance 1. Clean the ramp after each use. Make certain any dirt, oil, grease or debris is removed from the ramp. Use warm water and mild detergent to wash away any dirt. Rinse with clear water or hose off. A paste of baking soda on a soft cloth may be used to remove any stubborn stains. 2. Check the ramp and safety pin for signs of stress or breakage. Do not use the ramp if faults are discovered.
