To log on
1. Visit www.dementiaaction.org.uk
2. Click on ‘Member Login’ at top of the page
3. Please enter your username and password. If you do not know your login details
please email: [email protected]
4. Once you have logged in you will come to ‘Your DAA’ page. Here you will be able to
manage and update your account. You will be able to:
a. Manage your profile
b. Add or update actions
c. Submit news items
d. Submit an event
e. Favourite items to ‘Your DAA’ homepage
To ‘Add a new Action’:
 Click on Add or Update Actions

Click on add a new action


Fill in Action Title: this is a one sentence summary of your Action point.
Type in your Action in the Action Description box.

Next select the current stage of this action from the drop down menu.

Please select the relevant topics the Action covers from Action tags.

If you have an update to add, please do so under Action Notes by clicking on ‘add a
quarter update’ and choosing the relevant quarter.

Once you are finished adding your action and any updates press ‘Save’

To Edit an Action:
1. Click on ‘return to your DAA’
2. Choose the action you wish to modify and click on ‘Edit this Action’
3. Update the stage of the action
4. Next scroll down and select ‘add a quarter update’

5. Select the relevant quarter your update belongs to from the drop down menu
6. In the description box type in your update
7. Press save action
8. Repeat steps 1-7 to update other actions from your Action Plan
To close an action:
1. Select Your DAA and then click on add or update actions

2. If you have an action that you have completed/and or no longer want in your action
plan select ‘close this action’ to remove it from the website.
3. ‘Not currently live’ will appear below the action you have closed.
N.B. The action will still show up in your account but it will no longer appear live on
the website.
Please kindly refrain from deleting or replacing any of your existing Actions as the
Dementia Action Alliance would like to archive the progression of its Members.
Add a new story
1. Click on Your DAA
2. Scroll down and click on submit a news item
3. Enter your information
4. Click on submit news

The DAA will be notified of this submission. Please be patient while the Website Manager
checks and approves the content before going live on the website.
To add an event:
1. Click on Your DAA
2. Scroll down and click on submit an event
3. Enter your information
4. Click on submit event

checks and approves the content before going live on the website.
