HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR PRESTIGE ® LIFESTRAW® STORAGE WATER PURIFIER
Your Prestige® Lifestraw® Storage Water Purifier is easy to assemble and use. Please follow the following assembly instructions
carefully.

HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR PRESTIGE® LIFESTRAW® STORAGE WATER PURIFIER
Your Prestige® Lifestraw® Storage Water Purifier will require maintenance at regular intervels . Please follow the following procedure
to clean and maintain your Prestige® Lifestraw® Storage Water Purifier.
WEEKLY MAINTAINANCE
1. Remove the top lid
and top cover
2. Remove the prefilter
from the top cover
by turning it
3. Wash the prefilter,
top cover and top
lid under tap water
4. Put the prefilter
back into the top
cover and rotate it
to lock it
5. Remove Dirty water
tank, spacer and
cartridge from the
Pure water tank
6. Empty impure water
from the Dirty water
tank
7. Pull the lever from
the cartridge
8. Pull & remove the
cartridge from the
spacer
9. Turn the nut
clockwise to remove
the DWT

10.Clean the Dirty
water tank with
liquid soap & tap
water
13. Collect clean water
from the Pure water
tank into the bellow
16. Squeeze the below
as much as you can.
19.Re-assemble

cartridge with the
lever and spacer

cloth if needed
12.Reassemble the
Dirty water tank
with spacer. Install
the nut and turn
clockwise
14. Connect the bellow
to the outlet of the

upside down to
discard all water
inside
18. Clean the outside
of the cartridge
with purified water
(repeat step 13
to step 17 at least
twice)

water in a jug

MONTHLY MAINTAINANCE
1.Remove
the
cartridge from the
unit & then open the
end cap
2. Hold the end of
th UF cartridge
and gently take the
module out of its
housing
3. Clean the inside of
the housing with
purified water
4. Twist the UF cartridge
to open position where
the arrows on the
UF cartridge and the
carbon block match
each other. Then pull
the UF cartridge out
5.Wash the carbon
block under tap
water
6. Collect
purified
water into the bellow
8. Use
backwashing
cap to block any one
end of the carbon
block
9. Insert the bellow
with bellow ring
into the other side of
carbon block
11.Collect
purified
water into the bellow
12.Assemble the bellow
ring in the UF
cartridge
7. Put the bellow ring
on top of the bellow
10.Squeeze the bellow
to backwash the
carbon block (repeat
step 6-10 at least 3
times)

WARRANTY
Prestige (hereinafter referred to as the Company) warrants to the purchaser of “Prestige® Lifestraw® Water Purifier”, {hereinafter
referred to as Water Purifier} that the said Water Purifier is free from all defects in material and workmanship.
This warranty for the product is valid for a period of six months (6 months) against manufacturing defects from the date of original
purchase, subject to the following terms and conditions:1. The warranty card is to be completed, signed by the dealer immediately on purchase.
2. The Water Purifier is only to be serviced by the Company Regional Service Centre or by its Authorised Service Centre (addresses
listed in this manual).
3. The customer shall carry the Water Purifier to the nearest Company Regional Service Centre / Authorised Service Centre at
his/her own cost and risk.
4. The company shall make all endeavours/attempts to carry out the Service/Replacement under this warranty at the earliest, but
shall not be liable to do so within any specified time.
5. The warranty will continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the original warranty, in regard to the Repair/
Replacement of parts of the Water Purfier
6. The Prestige® Lifestraw® Water Purifier shall be used strictly for domestic purposes in accordance with the user’s manual.
7. The Company shall not be held liable for any accident, loss or damage (direct or indirect) to person or property caused by
reason of:
a) Repairs/service attended by unauthorised service person.
b) Overloading/misuse/abuse or/and negligence on the part of the person.
c) Defects caused by improper/reckless use.
d) Use of spurious spares/old, non-genuine spares.
e) Failure to comply with any safety precaution or maintenance tip suggested by the Company.
f) Original serial number is deleted/defaced or altered or tamperproof seal is damaged.

8. The warranty does not cover damages due to negligence, mishandling, breakage and cracks in the body.
9. The Company shall not be responsible for any special consequential damages or loss arising directly or indirectly for any delay
in the performance of this warranty.
10. The Company reserves the right to retain any part or component at the Regional Service Centre/branches or Authorised Service
Centre or at its workshop and shall effect Repairs/Replacement or parts or components at its sole discretion.
11. All repairs within the 6 months product warranty (arising out of manufacturing defects) will be done free of charge. Our service
centres will not charge you for those specific components and labour.
12. This Warranty shall not in any case extend towards payment or any monetary consideration whatsoever, and shall be only
limited to the product replacement.
13. Any complain/disputes shall be within the jurisdiction of the Courts of Bangalore.
14. The decision of the company is final in all cases of complaints.
