Getting Started
1 Remove the Jakit® from its packaging and separate the two pieces. Hold your iPhone with
the jack socket to your left and screen facing you and carefully slide the larger of the two
Jakit® sections over the top of your iPhone. Next, carefully slide the smaller of the two Jakit®
sections on to the bottom of your smartphone so that both pieces meet and then clip them
together.
2 With your Jakit attached, your iPhone is now ready for the full range of uses you purchased
it for with the added functionality of the Jakit. Remember, because of itsunique jack, you need never take your Jakit® off again…ever!
3 To switch the in-earphones on, simply slide the switch on the back of your Jakit® to the left.(Button marked 5 on diagram)
4 To switch the in-ear phones off, slide the switch on the back of your Jakit® to the right (Button marked 5 on diagram)
5 If you want to pair up with an in-vehicle Bluetooth system – or any other Bluetooth enabled device – ensure that the in-ear phones are switched to off.
6
Whilst holding the Jakit® with one hand, use the finger and thumb of the other hand to grip hold of both magnetically-connected in-ear phones. Slowly and steadily extend the
cable to a comfortable length and it will lock automatically, then separate the
in-earphones for use.
7 Before inserting the in-earphones into your ears, ensure that the volume level on your
iPhone is not set too high. (Consistently high noise levels can lead to hearing loss)
8 When you have finished listening through your in-earphones, stick the backs of the in-earphones together -they will connect magnetically. Now you are ready to stash them.
9
Slide the small retraction button (Button No 3 on diagram), located on the right hand side of the Jakit® when the screen is facing you, and hold. The in-earphones will now automatically retract. Release the button when fully retracted and in the rest position. Guide the earphones to sit gently in the Jakit®.
Do not retract without holding the magnetically connected earphones, and
allow your hand to follow the retraction of the earphones, all the way to their
resting position in the top of the Jakit case, or you may cause permanent damage
