Use and Care Manual All Yardistry products are made from exterior grade cedar (Cunninghamia Lanceolata) and any maintenance that you choose to perform will follow that of any cedar product. To clean dirt/residue off any surface of your Yardistry product simply use water as necessary. Yardistry components come pre-stained with a factory applied water based finish. The upkeep of this coat is dependent on your local weather conditions and your preference. Every 3-5 years, or as necessary, the stain will require re-application. Alternatively you can let the product age to the characteristic silver-grey of cedar over time. Any metal accessories from Yardistry are powder coated to prevent rusting and bleeding. Keep these surfaces clean and overtime to maintain the look of your project.
