Learn Mode Handheld Panic Button Installation
Instructions
Overview
Testing
Portable, hand held “P anic” transmitters are typically used as
panic buttons to activate 24-hour “Police Emergency” alarms or
24-hour “Auxiliary” alarms.
General guidelines for performing a Dealer Sensor Test are:
The single button transmitter can be activated by pressing
anywhere within the “ALERT” box, and holding for one second.

Using the appropriate touchpad for the CPU, enter the
applicable Dealer Sensor Test code.
2.
Trip the panic by pressing the alert box(es) on panic.
3.
Note the number of beeps from the CPU. These beeps
indicate how much of the panic button’s RF signal
(rounds) is being heard by the CPU.

powered by a 3.6 volt Lithium battery (Saft LS3), which should

Programming
General guidelines for programming this sensor are:

Set the CPU into Program Mode
2.
Trip the panic by pressing the alert box(es) on panic.
3.
Set the CPU to its normal operating mode.
Note: Refer to the appropriate CPU installation manual for
specific instructions for programming this sensor.
