Frequently Asked Questions
What’s so special about fiber optics?
iTV3 is building a brand new communications network that is 100% fiber optic. This means that your data moves at the speed of light. Fiber optics make for the perfect upgrade because everything moves digitally giving you superb HD picture quality, crystal clear voice, and superfast Internet speeds. This is the advanced communications network you've been waiting for. Our fiber optic network is installed completely underground so its less susceptible to inclement weather and easier to maintain. How does the TV service work?
ITV3's fiber optics are brought to your home, not just to your neighborhood. From there we have multiple methods for delivering service to your television.
What does the Set Top Box (STB) do?
It allows us to bring you hundreds of Standard and High Definition TV channels all in crystal clear digital quali
ty, at a level that only fiber optics can provide. It also provides the channel guide, control of your Digital Video Recorder (DVR), Parental Controls, and many more features that are being added all the time.
What is HD? Does it cost extra?
HD stands for High Definition and is a high quality picture that most widescreens and newer tvs can take
advantage of. All of our packages include HD channels at no additional cost.
