Use only a 120 A.C. voltage supply as shown
on the nameplate of the unit to power your blower.
2. The extension cord used to reach the power
source must be:
a. Specifically

as suitable
for outdooruse. The cord mu_t be marked with the suf-

b. Heavy enough to carry the current from
the power sourem the _
length of the extension cord to the unit. Otherwise, loss of

Handle Grip
Your trimmer is equipped with a new adjustable handle
which makes trimming and edging around hard to reach
areas much easier. The adjustment lever is located on
thefront of the handle grip. Figure 7. Make sure tz_mmet head is resting on the ground when adjusting the
handle.

Your trimmer is equipped with anAutomatichead. Whenever the switchispressed, the heed
automatically advances a predetermined amount
of line. Allow the trimmer head to stop turning
before restarting to advance more line. Do not
advance more Hue than necessary
by excessively starting and stopping the trimmer.
