(HVE) tables and sit/stand
(SHE) tables for use in an
office environment
A table with electrical height
adjustment allows you to adjust
the worktop height at any
moment to suit your body size
or working posture. In this way,
different people can use the same
table at different times in optimum
comfort. Sit/stand tables allow you
to work standing up part of the
time and sitting down in between,
to permit a healthy variation of
working posture.
These tables should only be used in
an office environment, by adults.

Determining the correct worktop
height for sitting work
Sit on the table in a relaxed
posture, with the back of your
knees against the edge of the
table. Three important dimensions
can now be measured.
Dimension A: The distance from
the bottom of the heel of your
shoe to the tabletop.
Dimension B: The distance from
the tabletop to the bottom of your
elbow, with the bent arm held next
to your body.
Dimension C: The distance between
the tabletop and a ruler placed on
top of your thighs. Add 5 cm to this
value. If the resultant sum is greater
than dimension B, use this sum
instead of dimension B.
The correct worktop height is
equal to the sum of dimensions
A and B.
Ad hoc adjustment of table height
Push one of the height adjustment
buttons to see the current table

If there are several users, they will

Storing sit/stand table settings
In sit/stand tables, the last used sit
and stand settings are automatically stored in the system memory.
This makes it easy to switch between the sit and stand positions:
when you push an ‘up’ or ‘down’
button, the table automatically
moves from the sit position to the
last set stand position or vice versa.

If you push the ‘up’ or ‘down’
button of an SHE table, the table
will automatically move to the last
used stand or sit setting.
To change the setting, hold the
button down until
or

height. This new height will now
be stored in the memory as the
new stand or sit setting after a
delay of 10 seconds.

Safety instructions
The following instructions must
be followed to ensure safe use of
height-adjustable tables.
-A height-adjustable table must
be free-standing. Leave at least
2.5 cm of free space round the
moving parts of the table to
avoid crushing of body parts
during height adjustment.
-Make sure that no obstacles
(such as pedestals, waste baskets,
objects hanging from panels etc.)
are present above and below the
table that could impede height
adjustment or lead to crushing of
body parts (see also Pedestal stop).
-Do not use the lateral beam
under a sit/stand table as a foot
rest, as there is a risk that your
feet could be crushed during

-The table may not be used as a
means of lifting heavy objects.
-The maximum permissible evenly
distributed load on the table and
on elements suspended from
moving parts is 80 kg.
-Make sure that cables cannot
develop kinks, become damaged
or be caught between moving
parts of the table.
-Never modify the cables and
connections of the table’s
electrical system.
-Do not open any electrical parts
of the table’s height adjustment
system.
-If it is necessary to modify the
height adjustment range. If you try
to do this, the pedestal stop will be
automatically set to 5 cm above the
bottom end of the adjustment range.

Correcting the height reading
It is possible to correct the height
reading of your height adjustment
system if the reading on the display
differs from the actual worktop
height. The way you do this depends
on the type of switch unit you have.

Excessive loads
The height adjustment mechanism
will not work if the table is overloaded. Remove the excessive load.

the table will move a few centi­
metres in the opposite direction
to avoid damage or injury. (This
function does not apply to duo
tables and four-legged tables with
a central motor drive.)

Safe range of movement
In order to avoid damage or injury,

when the top or bottom end of its
range of movement is reached.
Pedestal stop
The table’s range of movement can
be modified by including a ‘pedestal stop’, for example to ensure
that it stops some distance above
a pedestal that is placed under the
table; see also Adjusting or cancelling the pedestal stop.
The height adjustment system
requires no maintenance under
normal conditions of operation,
and contains no parts that can be
replaced by the user.
Preventing double actuation of
buttons
Height adjustment stops automatically if another button is pressed in
addition to the one used to bring
about the height adjustment.
Trouble-shooting
Serious malfunction
If for example the height adjustment mechanism starts to smoke,
unplug the main power cable and
then disconnect all other cables.
Contact your service engineer.
Height adjustment mechanism

connected to the drive unit
under the table.

Cleaning
The power supply unit and the
switch unit may only be cleaned
with a dry or slightly moist cloth.
If desired, a small amount of a
mild all-purpose domestic cleaning
agent (without abrasives, and
without bleach) may be added.

Elektrisch hoogte-verstelbare
tafels (HVE) en zit-sta-tafels
(SHE) voor gebruik in een
kantooromgeving.
Met een tafel die elektrisch
hoogteverstelbaar is kunt u ieder
moment de bladhoogte op uw
lichaamsafmetingen of houding
afstemmen. Zo kunnen verschillende mensen dezelfde werktafel
op verschillende tijden optimaal
gebruiken. Bij zit-sta-tafels kunt u
door afwiselend staand en zittend
te werken vermijden dat te lang
achter elkaar eenzelfde werkhouding wordt aangenomen.
De tafels dienen alleen in kantooromgevingen te worden gebruikt
door volwassenen.

Het vaststellen van de juiste tafelhoogte bij zittend werken.
U gaat ontspannen op de rand van
een tafel zitten, zodat de knieholte
tegen de rand van het blad stoot.
Nu kunnen drie belangrijke maten
worden gemeten:
Maat A: de afstand van de onderkant van de schoenhak tot de
bovenkant van de tafel.
Maat B: de afstand van het
tafelvlak tot de onderkant van de
elleboog, gemeten met de arm
naast het lichaam, gebogen.
Maat C is de afstand tussen het tafelvlak en een lineaal die u over de
bovenbenen legt. Tel daar 5 cm bij.
Als dat samen meer is dan maat B,
dient u deze waarde te gebruiken
in plaats van maat B.
Uw juiste werkbladhoogte is gelijk
aan de som van de maten A en B.
Tafelhoogte direkt verstellen
Druk even op een van de pijltoetsen. De tafelhoogte wordt nu in
cm aangegeven op het display.
- Omhoog: houd toets
ingedrukt totdat de tafel de
gewenste hoogte bereikt heeft.
- Omlaag: houd toets
ingedrukt totdat de tafel de
gewenste hoogte bereikt heeft.
De tafel is bij de neergaande
beweging voorzien van een
veiligheidstop op ongeveer 5 cm
voor de laagste stand van de tafel
of een ingestelde traject-limiet.
Na het opnieuw indrukken van de
toets beweegt de tafel alsnog
met verminderde snelheid verder.
Tafelhoogte verstellen naar een in
het geheugen opgeslagen hoogte
(alleen bij schakelaar type 60F701)
Voorkeur-tafelhoogten opslaan in
het geheugen
(alleen bij schakelaar type 60F701)
Naar keuze een van de toetsen 1,
2,
of 4 indrukken totdat de
tafel automatisch stopt op de in
het geheugen ingestelde hoogte.
Wordt de toets eerder losgelaten
of tegelijkertijd ook een andere
toets ingedrukt, dan stopt de tafel
onmiddellijk.
(Bij aflevering is in de vier geheugenposities de laagste bladhoogte
opgeslagen.)
-Zet de tafel op de hoogte die u
wilt opslaan (zie ‘Tafelhoogte direkt verstellen’): bijv. 74 cm.
-Daarna de toets
indrukken.

onder de overige keuzetoetsen.
Het display dooft ongeveer 20
seconden na gebruik van de
hoogteverstelling.
Er kunnen vier voorkeurhoogtestanden in het geheugen worden
opgeslagen en ingesteld.
Bij meerdere gebruikers kan
worden afgesproken wie de ‘1’,
‘2’, ‘3’ en ‘4’ stand gebruikt.
SHE tafel geheugenstanden
Bij zit-sta-tafels wordt steeds de
laatst gebruikte zit- en stapositie
bewaard in het geheugen van het
systeem. Zo kan simpel worden
gewisseld tussen staan en zitten,
want de tafel stopt bij verstellen
automatisch bij de laatst gebruikte
zit- en stastand.
Automatische geheugenstanden
van de laatste zit- en sta-houding
Als een SHE tafel wordt versteld
stopt hij automatisch op de laatst
gebruikte zit- of stastand. Indien
dan toch een andere stand gewenst is moet de
of
toets
opnieuw worden ingedrukt tot de
nieuw gewenste stand bereikt is.
Na 10 seconden wordt nu deze
stand als nieuwe zit- of stastand
opgeslagen in het geheugen.

Veiligheidsinstrukties
Om een hoogteverstelbare tafel
veilig te gebruiken dienen onderstaande voorschriften in acht te
worden genomen:
-Een hoogteverstelbare tafel dient
vrijstaand te worden opgesteld!
Houd daarbij minimaal 2,5 cm
ruimte rondom de bewegende
delen van de tafel vrij om afknellen van lichaamsdelen tijdens het
hoogteverstellen te voorkomen.
-Zorg er voor dat er geen
obstakels, (zoals ladenblokken,
prullenbakken, aan panelen
hangende voorwerpen, e.d.)
onder en boven de tafel zijn die
het hoogteverstellen kunnen
verhinderen of die beknelling van
ledematen kunnen veroorzaken.
(zie ook ‘Ladeblokstop’)
Ladeblok-stop instellen of wissen.
-Zet de tafel op de laagste uiterste
stand die gewenst is met de
toets, bijv. 3 cm boven het
ladeblok.
*
-Door nu 10 seconden toets
ingedrukt te houden (in het
display is dan
zichtbaar)
wordt deze limietstand van het
versteltraject vastgelegd. De
instelling wordt bevestigd door
een dubbel klikgeluid.
-Een oude ladeblok-stop zal door
het 10 seconden ingedrukt houden van toets

gewist. Dit wordt bevestigd
door een enkele klik. Nu kan de
nieuwe ladeblok-stop-positie
worden vastgelegd.
- Daarna kan de tafel weer normaal worden gebruikt, echter, de
tafel kan nu niet meer lager dan
de limiet worden versteld.
PS Een ladeblok-stop kan niet
-Gebruik de dwarsbalk onder een
zit-sta-tafel niet als voetensteun.
Dit kan bij verstellen van de
hoogte afknellen van de voeten
tot gevolg hebben.
-Neem maatregelen dat kinderen
niet onbeheerd met de hoogteverstelling kunnen spelen.
-De tafel mag niet als hefmiddel
worden gebruikt.
-De toegestane netto gelijkmatige
verdeelde belasting op de tafel
en aan het bewegende deel
opgehangen elementen is totaal
maximaal 80 kg.
-Zorg dat snoeren niet kunnen
knikken, beschadigd of beklemd
kunnen raken.
-Nooit wijzigingen aanbrengen in
de kabels en aansluitingen van het
electrische systeem van de tafel.
-Open geen electrische onderdelen
binnen de laagste 5 cm van het
versteltrajekt worden ingesteld;
de ladeblok-stop wordt dan automatisch op 5 cm boven de laagste
tafelstand vastgelegd.

Hoogte-aanduiding aanpassen
Het is mogelijk de hoogte-aanduiding op het display te corrigeren,
indien de werkelijke tafelbladhoogte niet overeenkomt met de
aanduiding op het display.
Bij schakelaar type 60F701:
- Druk op toets
.
- Druk binnen 5 sec. op de
toets en houdt deze ingedrukt tot
het display begint te knipperen.
-Corrigeer nu met de
of
toets de hoogte-aanduiding op
van het hoogte-verstellingsysteem.
-Bij wijzigingen aan de tafel, verplaatsen of verhuizen van de tafel
dient u hiervoor de montagevoorschriften te raadplegen of contact
opnemen met de servicemonteur.
Veiligheidsvoorzieningen
Te zwaar belasten
Bij een te zware belasting stopt de
tafel automatisch. Verwijder dan
de te zware belasting.
Beveiliging bij blokkade
Wordt de tafel tijdens het verstellen
geblokkeerd, dan zal de tafel
enige cm’s in tegengestelde richting
bewegen om schade of letsel te
voorkomen. (Deze functie is niet
van toepassing bij duo-tafels en
het display tot de gewenste
waarde. De tafel beweegt niet
mee.
-Druk op
.
-De nieuwe aanduiding is opgeslagen als het display stopt met
knipperen.
Bij typen 60F702 en 60F703:
- Druk gelijktijdig de
en
toetsen in, zodat in het display de

Veiligheidstrajekt
Ter verkleining van de kans op beknelling is de neergaande beweging
voorzien van een veiligheidstussenstop op 5 cm voordat de laagste
stand van de tafel of een ingestelde
traject-limiet bereikt wordt.
Ladeblok-stop
Het verstelbereik kan worden
beperkt met de ‘ladeblok-stop’,
bijvoorbeeld om te voorkomen dat
de tafel op een ladeblok stuit: zie
‘ladeblok-stop instellen’.
Toetsbeveiliging
De tafel stopt onmiddellijk met
verstellen wanneer tegelijkertijd
een tweede toets wordt ingedrukt.
Storingen verhelpen
Bij ernstige storingen
Bijv. bij rookontwikkeling, dient
eerst de hoofdspanningskabel en
daarna alle andere kabels te worden losgekoppeld. Neem contact
op met de servicemonteur.
Tafel verstelt niet, het display
geeft niets aan, of een ‘E’-code,
of blijft constant knipperen
Controleer:
-Of de schakelaar nog verbonden is met de sturingseenheid
onder de tafel.
-Of de poten nog verbonden zijn
met de sturingseenheid.
-Of de sturingsunit nog is aangesloten op de spanningsnetaansluiting.
-Voordat kabels van het bedieningspaneel, de tafelpoten
Maximaal verstelbereik
De tafel stopt automatisch met
verstellen wanneer de maximaal
hoogste of de laagste (trajectlimiet-)stand wordt bereikt.
Onderhoud
Bij normaal gebruik is de hoogteverstelling is onderhoudsvrij en
bevat geen delen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden vervangen.
Schoonmaken
De voeding en de schakelaar mogen alleen met droge of licht bevochtigde doek worden gereinigd

Het verstellingsysteem is
beveiligd tegen oververhitting
bijv. door continue langer dan
normaal gebruik. De waarschuwing
geeft aan dat de tafel
buiten werking is totdat de voedingskast voldoende is afgekoeld.
