It is important to read this user manual before
installing your cocoon travelfix.
Incorrect installation could endanger your child
and other passengers.
Always keep this manual in the storage pocket of
this seat.
DO NOT attempt to dismantle, modify or add any
part of the cocoon travelfix or change the way your
car seat belts are made or used.
‘DO NOT’S
Never leave your child unattended in the cocoon
travelfix.
DO NOT use anything, such as a cushion or coat,
to raise the cocoon travelfix off the passenger
seat. In an accident the cocoon travelfix and the
car seatbelts will not be able to protect your child
as well as they should.
DO NOT use the cocoon travelfix without the
cover. The seat cover contributes to the safety of
the seat.
It is recommended not to use the cocoon travelfix
on a passenger seat fitted with activated frontal
airbag.
‘DO’S
Make sure the 3-point-belt is tightened firmly, in
order to prevent any dislocation of child or cocoon
travelfix. Check frequently.
Make sure all passengers are informed on how to
release your child in case of an emergency.
DO NOT use any aggressive cleaning products;
these may harm the construction material of the
cocoon travelfix.
Make sure luggage or other objects are properly
secured. Unsecured luggage may cause severe
injuries to children and adults in case of accidents.
DO NOT use the cocoon travelfix at home. It has
not been designed for home use and should only
be used in a car.
Make sure that the cocoon travelfix does not
become trapped by a movable seat or in a door
of the vehicle.

DO secure the cocoon travelfix even if it’s not
occupied.
All passengers should be fastened by a safety
belt.
The cover of the cocoon travelfix should be
washed in accordance with the instructions.
IMPORTANT
When installed with 3-point-belt: The child
seat must be used by 3 point belt and diagonal
seat belt that approved to UN/ECE Regulation
No.16 or other equivalent standards.
DO keep this user manual in the storage
compartment on the back of the seat.
Warranty will expire if non-original parts or
accessories are used.

It is recommended not to use the cocoon travelfix on a
passenger seat fitted with frontal airbag.

Only forward facing installation allowed.

Allowed positions in car, only with
a 3-point-belt, are indicated green.

Pull to unlock(1) and simultaneously pull and release the connector block(2).

For the Stability fix model lock on the two stability
fix connectors to the anchorages in your car seat.
Make sure you hear “click”(2x)
Place the belt through the shoulder belt guide.
An unoccupied Cocoon Travel should still be fastened with the 3-point-belt. Make sure luggage or other objects are properly secured.

Place the child in the seat.
Lock the belt in the buckle. “click”
Make sure the child sits in safest position
(see next page).
Make sure the belt is not twisted.
The lap belt should be worn over the hips.

The cover is a safety feature. Never use the cocoon travelfix without it.

1.Pull the bottom part of the cover. Release it from
the velcro.
2.Pull the top part of the cover. Start at where the
arrow is located.
3.Take off the cover competely, then release the
elastic band from the fixed button.
4.Release the elastic bands. Start at the top.

Regulation No.44,04 series of amendments, for general
use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, vehicle
seats.
2.A correct fit is ensured if the vehicle manufacturer has
declared in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle is
capable of accepting a Universal child restraint for this
age group.
3.This child restraint has been classified as Universal
under more stringent conditions than those which
applied to earlier designs which do not carry this notice.
4.If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer
or the retailer.
5.Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with
a 3 point retractor safety belt approved to UN/ECE
Regulation No.16 or other equivalent standards.
