2. Remove the four (4) screws located on the bottom of the solar
panel module.
3. Remove the old battery and replace with a new battery.
4. Replace the spent batteries with new batteries, making sure the
polarity is correct.
5. Re-assemble the solar light.
6. Leave the switch on the “off” position and allow batteries to

switch to the “on” position*
*You will only need to do this after the replacement of batteries.
Note: This product uses 1 x AA NiCd battery. The rechargeable
battery must be allowed to fully charge to operate properly. Partially
charging the battery on a consistent basis will drastically reduce the life
of the battery.
Caution: Insert battery with the correct polarity. Do not mix old and
new batteries. Do not mix different types of batteries: Alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (NiCd). Never short-circuit the
battery terminals. Do not dispose of batteries in the fire, batteries may
explode or leak. Remove batteries during long periods of non-use or
when product is stored. Dispose of batteries safely.
MAINTENANCE & USE:
If the light does not turn on in the evening do the following:
1. Check the surrounding area for high ambient lights, such as
porch lights, streetlights, etc.
2. Make sure the switch is at the “on” or “auto” position
3. Make sure solar panel is not located in a shady area, where
sunlight is not reaching the unit.
4. Make sure the batteries are making contact with the
terminals. (See “BATTERY REPLACEMENT,” to learn how to
access battery area.)
P
