SUN SHIELD User’s Manual
Thank you for purchasing the Square Jellyfish Sun Shield. This product is
designed to shade the screen of a smartphone while taking a photo. By
cutting down reflective glare, the Sun Shield makes the screen easier to
see even in broad daylight. The Sun Shield can also provide screen viewing
privacy by blocking the view of others nearby.
Attaching your Sun Shield
There is no right or wrong way to attach the shield so let experimentation be
your guide. Here are two examples:
• While holding the folded shield at
a 90-degree angle to the screen of
your phone, tuck the tab of the Sun
Shield under the long edge of your
smartphone bumper or case. The
tab may protrude out the back side
of your bumper, or if necessary, use
scissors to remove the folding portion
of the tab so that it will fit inside the
case. Pull the side flaps of the shield
down forming 90 degree angles.
• While holding the folded shield at
a 90-degree angle to the screen of
your phone, place the tab of the Sun
Shield on top of the long edge of your
smartphone (with or without case) and
fold the edge of the tab down toward
the back. Attach a Square Jellyfish
Spring Tripod Mount to your phone
securing the tab in place. Pull the side
flaps down forming 90 degree angles.
Storing your Sun Shield
Because the Square
Jellyfish Sun Shield is flat
and flexible, it can easily be
stored in your wallet. It also
neatly stows in phone cases
behind larger phones such
as the Samsung Note.
Repairing your Sun Shield
The Sun Shield is made
of durable plastic and can
be used countless times.
Should you feel the hinge
is becoming weak, simply
reinforce the hinge with a
small piece of tape.

SUN SHIELD Product warranty
LIMITED WARRANTY
This Square Jellyfish Sun Shield is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one
(1) year from the date of the original retail purchase. If a defect exists, Square Jellyfish will, at its option and to the
extent permitted by law, (1) repair the product at no charge using new or refurbished parts; or (2) exchange the
product with a functionally equivalent product that is new or refurbished; or (3) refund the original purchase price.
This warranty excludes damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, or other causes that are not defects
in the materials or workmanship. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the manufacturer is not liable for any
direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising out of the use or service of the product, including,
but not limited to damage which may be caused to any smartphone, electronic device, or other device utilized in
conjunction with the Square Jellyfish Sun Shield. To the extent permitted by applicable law the manufacturer of the
Square Jellyfish Sun Shield disclaims all implied and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability
and fitness for a particular purpose. If implied warranties cannot be disclaimed, then such warranties are limited
in duration to the duration of this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other
rights which vary from state to state.
