English To ensure personal safety and proper maintenance, please read this section (refer to the figure below). WARNING If the unit begins to emit smoke, smells like sometheing is burning, or makes strange noises, disconnect all connections immediately and contact your dealer for advice. Attempting to use a malfunctioning unit may result in fire, electric chock, or equipment damage. Keep small objects or liquids away from the unit. Small objects accidentally falling through the ventilation slots into the cabinet or spillage into the cabinet may result in fire, electric shock, or equipment damage. If an object or liquid falls/ spills into the cabinet, unplug the unit immediately. Have the unit checked by a qualified service engineer before using it again. Values increase when this dial is turned clockwise. Values decrease when this dial is turned counterclockwise. Determines an item on the menu screen, and saves values adjusted. Cancels changes when this switch is held down. Switches the display mode (color mode). Switches the scan type at SDI signal input. (Interlace/ Progressive/ PsF) Select a signal format. Switches the SDI input signal. (When SDI is connected) (SDI-1/SDI-2/SDI-Dual(A-B)/SDI-Dual(B-A)) Switches the input signal (DVI/D-SUB) to be displayed. (When DVI/D-SUB is connected) Changes the screen size ratio. Displays the monitor information and version of the monitor and software. Adjusts the black level. Adjusts the color temperature. Switches to monochrome display to change the gain of the displayed color. Adjusts the gain value. Changes the gamma value to 1.0 and turns OFF the color temperature. Adjusts the gamma value. Adjusts the brightness. Reboots the controller after the operation mode is switched using the FUNC switch. Switches the operation mode of the controller. CTRL:Controls the monitor. PROG:Customizes the unit’s settings using software. Supplies power to the unit. Or customizes the unit after connecting to the computer. Connects to the monitor for operation. Connecting the Signal Cable English 1 Check that the power of the monitor and PC is ON. 2 Connect the controller to the PC and the monitor using USB cables. Attention • Before operation, check whether the FUNC switch is set to CTRL. (Before setting/adjustment, check that the FUNC switch is set to CTRL.) Note • The PC may have to be rebooted. • If the ENTER button does not light blue, refer to the User’s Manual on the supplied CD-ROM. Performing Advanced Settings/Adjustments Advanced color adjustment and various settings can be made using the controller. For more information, refer to the User’s Manual on the CD-ROM. 5
