LED Lamps MOTION SENSOR LED LIGHT IVAMV8LED User Manual ❶ Powering Up Heat/Mo on Sensor Power Switch 1. Remove the ba ery cover. 2. Insert (4) 1.5-v AA ba eries into the ba ery compartment. (Be certain to observe that the polari es of the ba eries match the “+” and “-” symbols in the ba ery compartment.) 3. Replace the ba ery cover. ❷ Operating Modes 1. When you first slide the power switch to its “AUTO” posi on, the LEDs will light even if it’s in a well lit room. Within a short me, the circuitry inside the light fixture will reset itself. The LEDs will turn off un l the room’s light level falls below 20-lux and its PIR circuitry senses mo on from a warm, moving source. 2. As an example, the night light will illuminate a hallway between the bedroom and bathroom, or the hallway to the kitchen for that late-night snack. The light will only illuminate A) when the sensor detects that the room is dark and B) when it detects mo on. The light will remain on as long as it detects mo on and will automa cally shut off 30 seconds a er no mo on is detected or when the hall light is lit. 3. When you slide the power switch to the “ON” posi on, the LEDs will light and the auto-sensing circuitry will be disconnected allowing you to use the night light as an emergency flashlight or to keep the area lit for longer than 30-sec. ❸ Operating Tips 1. For best results, install the LED fixture 4 to 5above the floor. 2. Avoid moun ng near a refrigerator, air condi oner, stove, etc. 3. Avoid obstruc ons which can block moving heat such as glass, curtains, and furniture. 4. Don’t face the lamp directly at a window. 5. Install the lamp wherever a temporary source of light is needed. Use it in a closet, hallway, outdoor walkway, near a gate, etc. 6.
