The agittator b breaks‐up an nd condition ns the insulattion for prop per density w while also sw weeping the insulation into the aairlock. The airlock transsports the in nsulation into the airstreeam created d by the blow wer system. Insulation is discharged ffrom the airlock, througgh the machiine outlet, and into the hose. The in nsulation nditioned ass it travels th hrough the h hose. is further con A An introducttion to key components of the system ffollows: EElectrical Panel: The ele ectrical pane el, combined d with tthe remote ((wired and/o or wireless), provides o operation off the machine. H Hopper: The e hopper con ntains the in nsulation beiing fed into the agitaators. H Hopper Exte ension (optio onal): The e extension pro ovides tthe user the ability to plaace more inssulation into o the h hopper. It w will also safely keep hand ds away from m the aagitator bar. A Agitator: Th he agitator iss located in tthe bottom ssection of thhe hopper. TThe configurration of the agitator enaables high production raates and aappropriate insulation co onditioning. The agitato or also transsports the insulation through the sllide gate and d into the airlock. SSlide Gate: TThe slide gatte is betwee en the agitator and the aairlock. TThe slide gatte allows the e user to alte er the volum me of insulatiion insulatio on being sweept into the airlock o over time. A An open slide e gate provid des the maxximum amouunt of insulattion into thee airlock oveer time; o often this is tthe case when open blo owing attics. Closing thee slide gate p provides more condition ning to tthe insulation. When the slide gate restricts insulation flow w into the airrlock the insu ulation comees into m more contacct with the aggitator, resu ulting in incre eased condi tioning of th he insulation n and more aairflow vvs. product fflow ratio. TThe slide gate e is typicallyy used duringg wall fill applications where the useer d desired a higgher ratio of air to produ uct flow to pack the insuulation denseely into wall cavities. A Airlock: The e airlock tran nsfers the inssulation from m the agitatiion system into the airsttream. Notee insulation do oes not come into contact with the b blower. Insuulation is disscharged fro om the airlocck by w way of the m machine outlet into the h hose. Hose iis not shownn in above diagram; hose is connectted to tthe Machine e Outlet. TThe backflow w preventer will keep inssulation from m fflowing backkwards throu ugh the airlo ock and into the blower w which may h happen wheen the pressu ure of p product in th he hose is more than thaat of the pre essure in thee line betweeen the bloweer and airlocck ‐ eexamples incclude (i) hose moving strraight up fro om machine to a second d or third sto ory, or (ii) du uring ssome dense pack operattion. The back blow preventer proloongs the blower motor’ss life. U Underside view of FORCE/2 SSet up and Operration SSystem Sett‐Up: SSet system o on a dry, leve el surface. 1. Notte: Do not pu ull on powerr cords whilee p plugged into o machine ass damage maay occur. A Airlock and d Seals TThe airlock aassembly is o one of the m most importaant items to keep in good condition. Foreign objjects in tthe airlock caan cause dam mage and re educe the machine’s prooduction. Seal failure is tthe most com mmon aairlock assem mbly failure. Seal failure e prevents th he airlock froom holding tthe proper p pressure. Seeal ffailure will re educe the m machine’s pro oduction. A machine wi th seal failure will have air blow outt of the aairlock into tthe hopper, reducing the e amount off air exiting tthe machinee outlet. It iss recommended to vvisually inspe ected seals e each week to o ensure pro oper runningg condition. Replace airrlock seals if a cut or ttear is eviden nt. Airlock sseals should be replaced d approximattely every 3000 hours of operation, o or once p per year. Vissit www.inte eccorp.com o or contact In ntec for repllacement insstructions. G Gearbox It is recommended to ch hange the ge earbox oil on nce per year.. When chan nging the oil be sure to use the ccorrect lubricant. In ope erating temp peratures be etween 40 too 100 degreees Fahrenheit, use Mobiil SHC 6 634 gear lube. In tempe eratures belo ow 40 degrees, use Mobbil 1 synthetiic 5W‐30.
