If you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD DUST IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. USAGE DIRECTIONS Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area such as an open garage. Test Paint Prep Wipe in a small inconspicuous area to ensure surface compatibility. Remove any loose paint or rust from the surface with a wire brush or sandpaper. Wipe the area with Paint Prep Wipe, turning frequently to ensure a clean side is contacting the surface.
