Remove the battery compartment door. • Insert three "C" (LR14) alkaline batteries. Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer life. • Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. • When sounds, or motions from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries! Battery Safety Information Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage: • Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). • Insert batteries as indicated on the battery compartment door. • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak. • Never short-circuit the battery terminals. • Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended. • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging. • If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision. Care • Wipe this toy with a clean cloth dampened with a mild soap and water solution. • Do not immerse this toy. Power/Volume Switch (on bottom of toy) • Locate the power/volume switch on the bottom of the toy. • Slide the switch to the desired position: off ,on with low volume or on with high volume . • When your child is finished playing with the toy, slide the power/volume switch to the off position. Spin & Learn Press the button for spinning action and lively music. • Place any of the eight special blocks upright in the center of the carousel and press down. Hear about what’s inside of each block followed by a fun sound effect! Note: The block recognition feature only works with the eight blocks included with this toy. Using other Peek-a-Blocks™ produces a sound effect. • Press the action button to hear a fun tune and see the carousel spin around with flashing lights. Five Sides of Busy Play! Stack & Spill PRESS • Drop blocks into each of the three channels to hear a song or a fun sound effect. • Press the lever and watch the blocks spill out! Drop & Tumble • Drop the blocks through the top and watch them tumble through the side. Five Sides of Busy Play! Sort & Store OPEN • Baby can drop the blocks through the openings near the top. • Store up to 30 Peek-a-Blocks inside the large compartment. Plug & Play • This side features bold patterns, fun animals and a large mirror. • Plug blocks into either of the square openings. Decoration • Apply the labels as shown in the illustration. • For best results, wash your hands before applying the labels and make sure the areas to which the labels will be applied are clean and dry.
