Sniffing a WLAN ● ● ● You could sniff with wireshark Sometime you can't put the wireless interface to promiscuous mode (or it is not enough). You should set the interface to work in monitor mode (For example: iwconfig wlan0 mode monitior). If you want to capture traffic on networks other than the one with which you're associated, you will have to capture in monitor mode.
