Use UP/DOWN button to select a module and press OK
button.
NOTE: Systems that can be tested may be different for each vehicle.
8) Wait a few seconds while the scan tool initializes diagnostic
system.
z If the scan tool fails to communicate with the vehicle’s ECU
(Electronic
Control
Unit),
a
“TESTER
NOT
COMMUNICATING WITH CONTROL UNIT” message
comes up on the screen.
9 Verify that the ignition is ON.
9 Check if the scan tool is securely connected to the vehicle’s
DLC.
9 Turn the ignition off and wait for about 10 seconds. Turn the
ignition back to on and repeat the procedure from Step 5 to
Step8 on Page 60.
