Using the Onscreen Keyboard Some applications display the keyboard by default. In others, you will be required to tap a text field, where you want to enter text, to open the keyboard. QWERTY touch pad Tap to switch to numerical keyboard with punctuation symbols. Backspace to erase the entered text. Turn on Word Predictions Tap to change the sentence casing. After typing, press button to close the keyboard. Tap and hold the text field to open a menu and to cut/copy/paste text. 18
