The owner of the bike is Zodiac’s General
Manager Ton Pels. After 35 years he ended
his active racing career in 2005. This is
definitely the longest Drag Racing career in
Europe (probably in the world). He’s
considered to be the most experienced
Drag Racer in Europe and has his (not
without reason acquired) nickname “The
Godfather” of SuperTwin Drag-Racing, to
prove this. Ton and his son Vincent (T&V
Racing) have built 7 editions of the
“Godfather” SuperTwin Drag Bike and are
working on the 8th one! For the 2008
season they are working on completely new
concepts, a 1680 cc Supercharged
Monster.
