8. TROUBLESHOOTING
The following instructions are strictly aimed at specialized and authorized service technicians.
In case of an anomaly or to solve a malfunction please refer to the following indications to identify the problem.

The pump doesn’t start.

The pump works but doesn’t
pump.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION

No air in the circuit.

Check circuits, cocks and connections

Insufficient air pressure.

Adjust pressure on pressure reducer.
1.3
Insufficient air flow.
1.3a
Check that pipes and accessories have
appropriate passages.

Damaged control valve.
1.4a
Check and replace.
1.5
Pump’s suction or delivery closed.
1.5a
Remove the suction delivery pipes and
see if the pump starts.

Pump’s
damaged.

Replace the exchanger; check if there
is ice on the air discharge. If so, solve
the problem. See the “Air supply”
paragraph.

Broken diaphragm.

See if air comes out of the product
delivery pipe; replace the diaphragm if
necessary.

Pump entered in stall.

Rearm the pump (see page 32).

Compressed air supply in discharge

Check that the air connection has been
executed on the “AIR IN” hole, if not
reconnect the air.

Balls don’t close.

Take down the manifold and clean the
seats or replace the balls and seats.

Suction height too high.

Reduce the negative suction height.

Fluid too viscous.

Install larger pipes especially on the
suction side and reduce the pumps’
cycles.

Clogged suction.
