How Much To Apply

directed, this product provides 0.81 lb of nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft. Contact your local Extension Service
for information specific to your geographic region.
Do not apply extra fertilizer or too little fertilizer. Set the spreader to the appropriate setting indicated. Place
your spreader on a driveway or other paved surface when filling. This guards against spilling fertilizer on
grass. For even coverage, begin walking before you turn spreader on to the open position so as to avoid
dropping fertilizer in one spot. Be sure the spreader is closed when filling it, when turning to backtrack or if
stopping on lawn.
Growing New Grass
For newly seeded or sodded lawns, we recommend Vigoro® Starter Fertilizer to help grass establish a
good root system.
