¡Feliz mes de Febrero, Distrito 2!
I do believe it may already be Spring in Texas! (At least at the time I
wrote this).
¡Creo que ya puede haber empezado la primavera en Tejas! (por lo
menos en el tiempo en que escribí esto).
There is much excitement with the SWTA68 Winter Workshop around
the corner. It should be very eventful with our Delegate going back to
New York soon, and many interesting subjects being discussed at this
time. Please contact your GSR or anybody in Service to ask any
questions you or your group may have.
Hay mucho furor con el Taller de Invierno del Área Suroeste 68 tan
cercano. Van a haber muchos eventos con nuestro Delegado volviendo
a New York pronto, y muchos temas siendo discutidos durante este
tiempo. Por favor ponte en contacto con tu RSG o alguien que sea un

January’s District Meeting was very productive and a bit different.
Thanks to The Dam River Group in Canyon Lake, we have a new
meeting place. I felt the renewed energy of the New Year while the
District Representatives made many decisions and there were many
great suggestions.

“Article 12 - General Warranties of the Conference: In all its
proceedings, the General Service Conference shall observe the spirit of
the A.A. Tradition, taking great care that the Conference never
becomes the seat of perilous wealth or power; that sufficient operating
funds, plus an ample reserve, be its prudent financial principle; that
none of the Conference members shall ever be placed in a position of
unqualified authority over any of the others; that all important
decisions be reached by discussion, vote, and whenever possible, by
substantial unanimity; that no Conference action ever be personally
punitive or an incitement to public controversy, that though the
Conference may act
for the service of Alcoholics Anonymous, it shall never perform any acts
of government, and that, like the Society of Alcoholics Anonymous
which
